No I was thinking Poverty Point. I believe it's the only place around with cabins. Everybody could tent camp if that's what they wanted to do and we could check out hunter's Bend. I don't know the availability of camper spots I would have to find out. I'll be honest at that time of the year we tend to get a lot of rain and if I don't have to sleep in a tent I'd rather not. I'm a manly man and all but it sucks waking up to go hunting and all your crap is soaking wet. If we get six guys per cabin for 4 nights that's pretty dang affordable at $115 a piece. They also have lots of camper spots but I don't know how close the campers are in a relation to the cabins. I'm going to try to make a couple calls tomorrow can get some more information. Another benefit to having cabins over tent camping is there's a kitchen! That's a big bonus in my book. Not to mention will be getting towards the end of hunting season and I don't know about y'all but I spend every second that I'm allowed to in the woods so I'm usually pretty run-down and would prefer to sleep in a bed. Guess I'm getting soft in my old age
I don't know about tagging out the first day I'm hoping I have to save a tag just for this hunt. We will see this will be my first year with a recurve so I may have six tags.
