New Aerohunter saddle?

So the good, we’ll built classic aero quality comfortable leaning & sitting. I like the mesh material, not flimsy. I’m a husky feller & a sz 2 is great…….only have 2 hrs in it so that’s all I got. The bad, this LB leaves a lot to be desired & the fact that I have to mod it to make it usable is frustrating ( don’t mind modifying new gear to my preferences) the tubular webbing twists easily as you extend the LB & then when you try to take the slack out it’s a tangled mess. The elastic stay for keeping it somewhat manageable is a bit small & really takes a lot of work to get organized (super fussy, a solution for a problem that didn’t exist) in doing so now I only have 1 LB loop!!!!!! Purely preference but I don’t care for the aero webbing bridge. But I removed it from my kites, easy fix & it does work.

Very confused on the construction. I was really interested early on during development but now I’m not very enticed to purchase one

Interesting how they ship it with the LB attached and if you didn't add on a pouch you take it out of the sack and your LB and carabiner drop and bounce off the ground.

I ordered the pouch & they didn’t send it. Kinda feel like if it’s attached the pouch should be standard. B/c that elastic ain’t cutting it. Speaking of cutting it!!!!!!

I listed mine in classifieds, catch & release. I did come up with an easy fix to create a linesman loop. I’m not going to do it b/c I’d like the next owner to get one not modified. You could fab a LB loop mimicking the aero one ( actually make it a little longer) thread it into the buckle just like they did for the strap. It would be permanent & locked into place. No issues with the comfort & like the bridge loops

Hope AH reads this thread. It seems like their company has a lot of fans in our community - that literally want to buy a saddle from them, but….
many of us saddle veterans are invested in the LB systems we’ve cultivated on our own. We know very well, often from trial and error, what works for us. Give us a lineman’s loop on each side, just like the previous generations of AH saddles, let us employ our own LB or heck, a LB peddled by AH, and we’re good.

Here’s hoping they get this right next year,

I cannot figure out what to do with the lineman’s belt when not in use.

So far I have it folded over neatly and wrapped in a rubber band. I then tucked it in the outside pocket of my TX5 pouch... it seems to stay put.

I think you have to buy their accessory that holds the lineman’s belt lol
