Has a good bit of flex for a 200lb dude.

For a 210 pound man kicking the heck out of it, did the flex seem excessive? Idk.

It'd be cool to have some sort of comparative flex testing in addition to weight certification as a standard. I wonder how thick the platform is, even though on these sticktop designs I wonder more about forces on the stick and where those limits are.

It's surprising that it seems to just use the hook and eye connection, no screw or locking device. But it didn't seem to have any play there.

I’m a former one sticker and this product will likely never be useful to me but that guy said he weighs 210 and was putting 10x the pressure one would in normal scenarios. In fact, I was surprised it didn’t flex more.

It's a fancy grapple hook?
Looks like it. Depending on price point it might be worthwhile. I like my treble hook but I can't exactly fold it up. It looks like this includes at least one magnet, which is nice to have. The could sell it with 30' of skinny Dyneema on it and a clip on the other end, maybe with a MOLLE-compatible carry pouch for a polished, complete system.

I can't find it on their website.

Gave the timber ninga black belt ultimate a try yesterday. Have to say I was pretty impressed. I would say it is slightly more comfortable then the method 2. A little easier to find the sweet spot. Only thing I don't like is the leg straps. Doesn't feel like you are wearing anything without them. Feels like a diaper with them. Play around with that a little more later. They might come off.

The structure to the panels seems like it makes a difference. Will probably be my main saddle for this year with the latitude as my back up. With the stick clips and platform attachment in the back pretty stream lined system. I think they are pretty high on the price though. Oh well just another day of OT.

This looks like a good design. Apparently it’s 2.4 pounds, not sure how at the size it is. I guess he is announcing the price in a week. I’m guessing $299….
