New Gear for 2023, Go!

The bar that you sit on during the ascent / descent, does it raise during the hunt and become a rifle rest?

This is the seat cushion that didn’t make it in time to ship with them. I am a little confused about the seat. But I guess I would need to try it. Platform is to short for me to work as an actual climber.

Question for the group. If you could have a 3 pound platform made from the normal materials we see, or pay more for a 3 pound carbon fiber platform, which would you go with and why?
hunt arnsel rzr, tethrd predator, etc. etc... there is literally no need for "carbon" platforms unless they're going to be a pound or less.

I guess one advantage for some would be greater size for the same weight or less chill under foot.

Yes, I agree sir. Just curious what people's thoughts were. I think either Timber Ninja or Tethrd will be releasing a CF platform soon but I can't see them shaving that much weight off for safety purposes. Guess we will see what the market decides.

Mo money mo problems

I struggle to see much benefit of CF if the weight and profile are the same.

I don't know how much warmer it would feel through a boot. If it was significantly less cold i could see that as a big benefit. I could see the bigger size I'm just not a "bigger is better" guy when it comes to platforms.

I agree 100%, that’s why I said for some. You know different strokes for different folks.
