That seat looks brutal
Reminds me of the ESS
That seat looks brutal
Total weight on the climber is 13.1 lbs…
What a let down. Any idea what just the platform weighs?
hunt arnsel rzr, tethrd predator, etc. etc... there is literally no need for "carbon" platforms unless they're going to be a pound or less.Question for the group. If you could have a 3 pound platform made from the normal materials we see, or pay more for a 3 pound carbon fiber platform, which would you go with and why?

Yes, I agree sir. Just curious what people's thoughts were. I think either Timber Ninja or Tethrd will be releasing a CF platform soon but I can't see them shaving that much weight off for safety purposes. Guess we will see what the market decides.hunt arnsel rzr, tethrd predator, etc. etc... there is literally no need for "carbon" platforms unless they're going to be a pound or less.
Mo money mo problemsQuestion for the group. If you could have a 3 pound platform made from the normal materials we see, or pay more for a 3 pound carbon fiber platform, which would you go with and why?
I don't know how much warmer it would feel through a boot. If it was significantly less cold i could see that as a big benefit. I could see the bigger size I'm just not a "bigger is better" guy when it comes to platforms.I guess one advantage for some would be greater size for the same weight or less chill under foot.

At 2.5 pounds and $300 ( I think) it's x- wing for this guy. CF does sound cool but packability is important tooQuestion for the group. If you could have a 3 pound platform made from the normal materials we see, or pay more for a 3 pound carbon fiber platform, which would you go with and why?
if you want that weight and better packability go with the RZRAt 2.5 pounds and $300 ( I think) it's x- wing for this guy. CF does sound cool but packability is important too
I tried them at the mobile expo but I really like the x- wing shape too. The fold flat did seem awesomeif you want that weight and better packability go with the RZR
Too bad they're made in Chinaif you want that weight and better packability go with the RZR
Yeah, sometimes it sucks to buy stuff made in China...I get over it with stuff I like. Not saying I have a RZR but I definitely own things from China.Too bad they're made in China
