So I carry my platform, saddle, kneepads, rattling antlers up top. Down below is camera, cam arm, bino harness/grunt call, clothes, ropes/saddle bag. Other goodies go in the pockets/lid. It pulls off the frame so can still pack some meat..in theory anyway, haven't done that yet. I had 45 lbs in this hiking the mtn last week and it felt great. The profile is nice too. I can move through the mtn with ease. I also love the ability to put stuff in the bottom bag in an instant. It's great for getting rid of rattling antlers quickly. I'm really liking it so far and I have some more pouches coming for the sides of the bottom bag. Just for a little more organization. I also have some compression straps to use on the pals if I needed them for more gear.
Top bag is large bird bag from MG. It was on sale so I figured I'd give it a shot with the upland bird bag and see if I could use them both and have room too. It works out pretty well on the frame.
