MR Popup 28 and 38 are on camofire today. I'll just keep telling myself that I don't need another pack.
They are on there because MR has a redesign coming out this year for the popup series (turning back toward the new gear thing)MR Popup 28 and 38 are on camofire today. I'll just keep telling myself that I don't need another pack.
Sigh..... carbon Costco trekking poles purchased... I have known about them for years but this pushed me over the edge. I love you and I hate you.I like argali stuff but the sticks are too much for me. The $30 carbon sticks from Costco have been awesome so far. 5 years, a bunch of elk packed out and 100’s of miles hiked.

Anyone have the specs on the XOP platform? Is 2.9# a real life number?
Probably add 2-4 pounds for a real weight.XOP allegedly releasing a 12.5lb climber, 7.5lb and 5.5lb hang ons. All machined. More of a premium price as well. The climber peaks my interest. Not so much the hang ons if their $400+ estimate is accurate for a Chinese made stand.
No sir. I can’t move away from my assault so I don’t try much of the whitetail gear. Good to know for the future. You ever own anything XOP? It’s probably 3.9lbs
One issue mentioned on the Pop Up was the waist belt.As @Mdbowhunter2414 pointed out, the new MR popup 30 https://www.mysteryranch.com/pop-up-30-pack and 40 https://www.mysteryranch.com/pop-up-40-pack are live on their site.

The belt does appear to be different yes, at least in the way the main buckle is seewn in. As to the overall shape/comfort it appears to be similarly styled but hard for me to tell if there's other noticable tweaks. side profile photos make it appear that it is removable just like the old gen yes, I haven't had a ton of issues with my old belt though so still have the stock one. Starting to think I need a "how to fit a pack" lesson though, I think I use my shoulders too much. One issue mentioned on the Pop Up was the waist belt.
Did they change the waist belt?
that new stick design is CRAZY! I wonder where that could have come from... And did you hear it will end up being almost a pound?? What a surprise...
