New Gear for 2023, Go!

in keeping with the new product theme I am interested in trying a few of the Bullman Apex2.0 to add to my early season climbing steps.

Ya. "Coming in January". So far that makes 38 days of hopeful anticipation. Tomorrow I shall check for the 39th time.

Upgrading from 2009 Trophyline Ambush saddle to CGM Cobra or Cruzr XC, and modifying a set of old LW sticks to a poor man’s Beast replica. Already made the move to a lighter total arrow weight with a higher FOC.

I was pretty set on trying the LWCG climber, but I really like the new XOP climber for the price. If it wasn’t for the pin lock they use on the belt, I’d love it. Curious to see what the seat ends up being.

I dig that, and I don't really believe in camo. The small part of me that does definitely thinks high contrast, larger-scale patterning like that is the way to go. End of the day though, the camo is completely irrelevant to me, a blip on the radar unless they are also making the quality highest quality clothes.
I kinda wanna see what a hunting suit would look like if it was made to mimic something that has been betting its life on beating a deers eyes for millenia. Give me a textured suit with salt and pepper natural colors that artificially darkens the highlights and brightens the shadows on your body.

I think you could get close with a heathered fleece with the right combo of neutral colors. To get the right light effect it will prolly need some amount of pile and then you are a burr magnet. Might even need to be a wool fleece blend to get the right light patterning effect.

2023
I run saddle and stands
.5 for short sits or long hikes and short sits
.5 and saddle combo for all day affairs
1.0 for bump and dump
Saddle and pursuit platform for long hikes and sits
I’ll dial it all in this fall. I’m pretty sure I’ll end up saddle and/or .5/pursuit platform most days.

love the LWCG sticks, and the doubles. Both with aiders, I like no buckle straps. Amsteel slips I am not a famoved to straps.

I need to practice out of the saddle with the longbow a lot more. It might be wheels only out of the saddle idk yet

that .5 is absolutely ridiculously light and small. Looking forward to using it. Been hang and hunting since the mid 90’s

I really want a thermal scope. I mean it’s totally cheating but looks like fun. Lol. I tried my buddy’s and omg.

Another stand backpacking option. Shown with a climber but obviously could be used with loc on stands. They could have done without the big black S on the back pad. Only thing missing from the set up, and a nice to have, is a waist belt. Cinch strap works better if used up on support arms. And I have no idea why he disconnects harness to nest the stand halves. It's not necessary with that set up.
