New Gear Release 2022!

Curious that among all the improvement features mentioned, there is no mention of what was done to address the concern about poor durability of the chemical welds and the unpopular small diameter roll pins that attached the integrated steps/standoffs to the tube.
Watch the video, the cap that is press into the top and bottom of the tube eliminates the wobble/ glue issues as for the roll pin its grade 8.

So the press cap is going to stiffen the titanium tube to eliminate the wobble?

Love how they contradict themselves, video says they weigh a smidge more than 16oz, website says 15.9 ounces* INCLUDING DynaLite™ Rope attachment

Pressing the cap in will flare the tube hopefully eliminating the wobble

Nice improvements. They kept the pointed step ends everyone was complaining about and roll pin though.

I watched the video before I posted my comment. They don’t explain if the glue was eliminated nor why the end cap makes the attachment more secure and more durable.

I just find it curious that the upgrade to address the primary complaint (glue disbond and an uncaptured small dia roll pin) were not front and center discussion points in the marketing video.

If they prove adequate and durable with extended use, kudos to the Tethrd team.

Before I’ll put my money on the table though, I want to see the Tethrd team put out technical marketing that explains exactly what was changed and why they are confident that it’s an adequate redesign.

And after the customer dissatisfaction with the Gen 1 version as well as the Skeletor sticks, I want at least one full season of use by others without commonplace reports of quality or durability issues.

So all the guys and gals out there who are more anxious to part with their money than me - have at it - you’ll be the Guinea pigs that guide my purchase decision down the road.

Wonder if the box will still say Sub1 like the one's auctioned earlier this year.

If you want to see a contradiction, look at the Perdator platform on their website. Description says 3lbs, additional information says 68oz. Been like that for awhile. Not really a big deal, but it is/was the bread and butter of the company, you think you'd get that right.

At least they made some improvements. Time will tell if it works or not. I am waiting to see what latitudes sticks are. If I don't like them I will just keep running the beast sticks I have no complaints about them so not a big deal for me. Would like to cut a couple pounds from my saddle setup is the only reason I am thinking about upgrading my full length beast. The minis I have are staying with the stand works good together.

Yeah, and incur the wrath of all the forum clowns! “Taking advantage of fellow hunters”, “unscrupulous “, etc etc etc

I offered the sticks at 450.00 on the forum before pulling them. I got countless messages explaining to me they cost 300.00 on the company's website.

My simple reply: "are they available?"

No replies.

I set the minimum bid on ebay at 350.00 and buy it now at 455. The bid was over 500.00 in real short order.

I offered them for about 10% over list price in the ebay listing, because I'm of the impression that availability is worth SOMETHING.

Apparently, availability is worth an extra 400.00. I didn't decide that. The buyer did.

I do wish sometimes folks here would replace "you did a bad thing" with "you did a thing I don't like for some arbitrary, subjective reason."

Oh well, the big wheel keeps turnin'
