New Gear Release 2022!

Im not 100% sold on it either. But no matter the adjustments I made to the lwcg system I couldn't get it dialed in just right. Either too much weight was leaning 1 way towards the shoulders or waist. I also found the straps loosen up over the course of walking a couple miles, at least on mine.

Yeah, It's not bad for moderate distances. I don't hate it, but could be better.

I've been sitting on a Kuiu suspension to modify as an improvement....

Haven't laid that egg yet.

I guess we'll find out, lol. Should be some reviews forthcoming thanks to your share.

Truthfully, I'm not entirely happy with my LWCG suspension. A lumbar pad would improve the belt quite a bit imo. As well as a forward draw waist belt (which can be accomplished DIY I believe). An upper back contact relief pad would be a bonus.

I like the TX5 concept here, and am really surprised this low hanging fruit hasn't been picked by companies that specialize in this arena. But I'm not completely sold on the design either.

Dear Kifaru....
Season is too close for me to make any changes now.. but maybe after season this will have my attention, the .5 is just so short on me to carry comfortably with my long torso, this combined with the .75 mite be perfect, for now I will run what I have, I don’t use my stand much anyways, speaking of Kifaru my last order finally showed up after 3 months of waiting, about time lol.

Maybe this has been covered, maybe not.
Mine arrives Monday. I'll let you know what I think.

Got this Dialed Arxos in the other day. I am going to get it sighted in today. Initial impressions are good, seems well built. VERY simplistic design which I like. It was expensive, so we shall see if it is worth it. Although, I'm not sure anyone could ever justify a $500 bow sight as worth it when they primarily hunt whitetails . The angled elevation adjustment seems pretty cool, especially when shooting long range at TAC or western hunting. Sometimes I wonder about my gear decisions, but at least this forum is a safe space for that.

Rick had a production version of this at my meetup this weekend and another version that was 12” wide on top of a standard 1” tube. He said these should hit the beast gear site in a week or so but they still have to get pricing, pictures, marketing and how to vids done so It might be a little longer. I get so busy at my meetup that I didn’t take any pics. Now that is downright shameful. I better add that to the shame thread.

this is intended as a 1 stick step and micro platform, not a replacement for the mini beast sticks. They are done making the full size beast sticks.

Looks like Dyson made a bow sight.

Season is too close for me to make any changes now...

This one made my day! I have been known to create a preacher seat or other saddle prototype between noon and 4pm and have it on a tree by 5pm to hunt. I don't know what I'm using until I get to the tree some days! That is my "system" and routine.

I'm going to switch to some sort of slider after season and I've been looking to at these. I don't understand the benefits other then they range out more. Not trying to crap on your guys parade but what am I missing?

A lot of people hate how busy multi-pins are in their housing. They feel it block their view and add confusion during high stress time. A lot are actually going only a single pin period for hunting bow, no slider at all. Which honestly I considered too but I like to be able to shoot at multiple distance at home and hit what I aim at rather then constantly try to range.

Latest and greatest, lighter, quieter and cool looking. I was looking at them but not sold yet. I'm a one pin wonder whitetail hunter and set up most of the time like a trad guy with shooting to a max of 15-20yards so its probably not in my wheelhouse. But I do think it is very cool and forward thinking. With bow weights and stability and I've been using a backbar this year so far and it really helps with my target panic.... but the bows can get heavy quick with all this junk on it. A lighter sight like this will probably gain in popularity. Wonder how it will hold up to the dudes that beat on their stuff?

Got the TX5 stand suspension system today. Got it all rigged up on my .5 and I am impressed. It is purpose built and the quality is what you'd expect from TX5. It is very comfortable. I hated not having a back pad with the abrasiveness of the bare stand. That alone is worth it to me. I plan to add a TX5 pouch on the waist belt and a Kifaru water bottle holder to the other side.
