About a year ago I picked up a 94 F250 7.3l diesel with 200k on the clock for around 3k.
93-94 was the idi to powerstroke change over year. I've owned both and would take the lower displacement idi 6.9-7.3......i know of 3 that have close to or over the 1 million mile markYou're going to be hard pressed to find a truck that meets your requirements considering the popularity trucks are having right now. I used to use my wife's volvo s60 until she said no more. I didn't even consider asking permission to use our suburban. About a year ago I picked up a 94 F250 7.3l diesel with 200k on the clock for around 3k. I regularly see 90s Tahoes and cherokees with less than 200k on the clock for around 4k. They're out there just gotta keep searching.

Yup mines an idi. I'm the second owner, it previously lived on a farm doing chores. Runs like a top. Being all mechanical it's the perfect hunting truck.93-94 was the idi to powerstroke change over year. transmission and ttb front axle are the weak links. The powerstrokes are a better platform but i love the older idi.....with that said, my current f250 has the 300 inline 6 with a c6......best gasser Ford (or any other brand) made IMO. i keep looking for the dana 60 front axle to throw in it. 1987 with 400k. Maintenance and rebuilt head is all its ever asked for.Yup mines an idi. I'm the second owner, it previously lived on a farm doing chores. Runs like a top. Yeah I'm not loving the TTB either but for now I gotta run what I brung. I'm jealous over your 300, that's my jam. You aren't wrong about the e4od, had a hard shifting gremlin I just finally got sorted out via lots of multimetering and a new sensor.transmission and ttb front axle are the weak links. My dad had an old buckin' bronc. Miss that thing. If i had to choose the ultimate hunt/commute/weekend run around vehicle id choose the 78-79 bronco. Wet or cold weather keep the top on. If you need a truck.... Take your top off

I have a tarp in my trunk year round for just that. That way I can't forget it.
