No jokes. Do you crazies really saddle hunt in Crocs?

I wear them to the woods and then throw on my mucks once I get out the truck. My boots filled with rain before one hunt this year so I just wore my crocs in. Maybe on a platform but for my 250 on a ring of steps it was just bearable but not exactly comfortable.

I've tried using them for sneaking but just found out they have a terrible squeak. I've been wearing these for 4 or 5 years, the tread is so worn I can barely walk on wet asphalt without falling. That said, they're nto going anywhere near a raised metal platform.

But if it's not metal it's public land leeegaaalll
Can you toe climb with these?

Good grief, I know you guys love your Crocs but that has to be one of the dumbest things ever. A breathable shoe, probably best suited for heat or water or both, but then worn/sold with a liner for cold weather, AND THEN it needs plugged yet… geez I feel like I do when trying to explain to my wife why fuzzy socks and Old Navy flip flops are not suitable footwear in winter…

Same here. Think about it, the secret to keeping your feet warm are dry feet. You keep your feet from sweating and don’t compress your socks in tight boots and your feet will stay warm. Croc city, baby!

Seriously, I think you’ll be surprised how well Crocs with Merino socks will keep your feet warm.

<ETA> take all that with a grain of salt as I am not a survivor of any form of The ‘Rona
