Crocs simply don’t work out in the region where I hunt. If it’s not cold as hell it’s rainy or muddy or buggy or thorny or I need to walk 15 miles in a day.
Well, going to give in to peer pressure and give them a try next season. If I die by snake bite in ankles, expect a very strong disapproving message from my wife @Red Beard. BTW, I'm not giving leaving anything to you jokers, going to have myself a good old fashion Viking funeral and going down in a flame of glory. Vahalla!

Those are weird looking Crocs
Wife found them at a yard sale, did my research and they are Yukon Sport model. I was hoping for these for father's day but I'll settle for these...
Good news is. Even if you fall or die by snake bite, your feet will be comfortable. And that’s what’s important.Wife found them at a yard sale, did my research and they are Yukon Sport model. I was hoping for these for father's day but I'll settle for these...
Aw man that's so cool. I love snakes!!! Bring it!!!I had a snake fall on me in VA while I was 25ft in a tree.
Last year in MD a god awfully large snake launched itself as I passed (thankfully away from me and into a flooded ditch). The speed and power was an eye opener to me. Crocs, no way.

Hate snakes. The frigid north sounds better all the time.
Winter is coming.Tell them, tell them all......The North Remembers.........about the snakes in the south.
Hawaii is callingYeah ask me then how I feel about. As much as I hate snakes I also hate the cold! Can’t win.
It seriously is. Every time we travel (which is often) my wife and I ask if we could live in that place. Usually it’s just a fun daydream game. But she loved everything about Hawaii and has mentioned moving there multiple times since we got backHawaii is calling

The frigid north also has timber rattlers and copperheads, just for a shorter season. There’s no escaping life.Hate snakes. The frigid north sounds better all the time.
