No Shame Coffee Thread

I know some of you really enjoy various creamers and fru fru coffees whilst wearing your skinny cut camo, or black, hunting attire. Heck there may even be some tea drinkers that need a place to confess without any judgement or ridicule. You may even be a traditional black coffee purist who sees his favorite beverage and his favorite pump mossberg shotgun in the same light (keep it simple). Well here’s your place to share your misgivings, transgressions, and coffee fouls without shame. And maybe share your favorite blend while you’re at it!

I’ll go first. I enjoy a fresh ground bold coffee brewed in a French press, I have two. I use no creamer, especially pumpkin spice. I had a nitro infused cold coffee this summer and I liked it. I have two Bunn coffee makers, I don’t know why, I suppose one is a spare.

Fru fru hahahaha a french press is just as frufru as one of mocha choca double soy vanilla bean lattes my guy, it's just simpler! A coffee snob is a coffee snob and that's ok.
I honestly have had coffee around the world, middle eastern Turkish is good for kicking you in the a** and getting you moving. I swear I has cocaine in it.... Now my go to coffee, my every day drink, I sh*t you not, is juan valdez freeze dried instant. I have been drinking it for years now. It's the best tasting coffee I've found, not bitter, smooth finish, just unreal that it is an instant coffee.....
 
I treat myself to my favorite drink, a Venti Java Chip frappuccino from Starbucks if I'm having a really bad day. Usually I just Folgers something at the office. Wife would bring me the drink as a peace offering if we have a fight because she knows I can't stay mad holding that drink.

I am a guy who says "down the hatch" to anything that relatively resembles coffee. I love it all. Most days, especially in the woods I have sam's club black. I designed a 3d printed cup holder for my gear strap (I can send an .stl if anybody is interested in printing one) that I have yet to get printed because last year i had several occasions that deer came in while drinking a cup and nowhere to place my thermos lid.

I’m pretty sensitive to caffeine, so I don’t drink coffee often because I generally feel anxious from it :sweatsmile: But when I do, I’ll take whatever with just a splash of milk and a touch of sugar.
 
I like a good dark blend, fresh ground beans, but I usually start my day with matcha w/ stevia/monkfruit, preferrably on ice. I like coffee better but matcha is part of the dietary plan to make sure my skinny cut designer camo fits. Once the season kicks off I like to grab them fru fru starbucks double shots because they go down quick and easy. Can't underestimate the value of hot coffee first thing to get things moving though. I know if i miss my first deposit in the porcelain bank I'll be in trouble.
 
My wife said I’ve drank so much bad hospital coffee that I don’t know what good coffee tastes like. I think that’s nonsense! She forgets I was a cop and drank bad gas station coffee too. I’ll usually drink 8-10 cups a day and have actually fallen asleep while drinking coffee. I did try some of the Turkish coffee someone mentioned and I can only assume it’s what crackheads feel like when they take a hit. I created quite a buzz and I liked it. I’d like to find some more of that stuff.

95% of the time I'm drinking dark roast, black coffee. Maybe 4% of the time I'm adding a little heavy whipping cream. That final 1% will get me in this thread. Usually stopping at Starbucks with the wife and treatin myself lol. Vanilla sweat cream cold brew is pretty dang delicious. Don't think anything really beats a fresh cup of black straight off the french press though.
 
Someone with stronger Google-fu than mine can find the Ralphie May clip about Starbucks coffee, and what he has sprinkled on top....

That Starbucks cold brew is probably my favorite coffee related drink I’ve ever had. My everyday coffee has been whatever I brewed the night before thrown into the fridge to have cold with some ice and half n half in the morning. Might be cool enough in a few weeks to switch back to hot coffee in the morning.

This teal season has been brought to us by fresh-ground pour-over with a splash of almond milk.

I swapped from a mocha pot to pour over since I bought my wife a nice electric kettle for her tea and wanted to free up counter space.

I'm not picky about coffee. I like it fresh. I don't like it sweet unless it's Kahluah. I about have to have it with milk nowadays unless I wanna crap my britches. And I try to limit it since once you start paying attention it's a pretty potent psychotropic that I believe influences our culture in ways that I don't think I like.
 
Wow! Caaaawwwwwffffeeeeee! I’m an emphatic coffee drinker, but not a connoisseur by any stretch. I drink mine black because of my diet but occasionally I throw some half ‘n half in. My favorite of all time is good ole diner coffee with a couple of creams. I typically drink a pot a day. My wife always starts another around 3pm when she’s not working. Something about that coffee smell all day. Smells like fellowship!!
