yea still don’t think I would add it to the beast stand.
I placed them on the assault 2. Had to drill holes to the inside rungs. May do the same thing with the echo. We will see. I ordered the rest.I half heartedly attempted to find a place to mount the foot rest on the Novix but was unable to find a suitable location. The Echo came predrilled so I just threw them on that stand for the time being. Anyone seen anybody put them on the Helo and if so, where did they mount them?
My Echo was already drilled. The Helo I couldn't find a place where they wouldn't be on some weird/odd angle or be out of the way except for near the cable mount and I wasn't sure I wanted to drill another hole close to the existing cable hole.I placed them on the assault 2. Well I did it. Not the best looking thing an looks a little ridiculous but functional. Look ridiculous on my assault as well to be honest.
But at least there are foot restView attachment 51618View attachment 51619View attachment 51620

If you didn't like the seat, maybe this will work for ya.
except it’s 1/2 the price of the whole stand!
Yes, there is a guy on the tube that says machines stands are designed to flex. My experience with tree stands is if they flex where they touch the tree they make noise. The Beast stand tured out to be a noise maker, at only 650.Anybody notice the novix/cast being quieter than machined stands?

Id like to see someone toe hook the helo with the mic beside the stand and then do the same with a machined stand. It'd be interesting. I know you dont have to toe hook but which ever setting method. I bet you'd notice a difference.
oh boy....So enkriss, you've had a beast stand? What'd you think of it?
Totally agree on the camming of the 1.0!!As much as I like the LWCG stands they are a hard cam. Sometimes tough to do if you dont really pull down by hand before stepping on. My 1.0 is the loudest stand to toe hook I have ever had. I try to avoid it.
Did I miss something? Yea or neigh on the beast stand?Well that depends. There are other factors at play. The beast stand for example is a soft cam. Not much in the way of camming action on the stand when toe hooking. So it really isn’t loud at all doing that. A LWCG stand on the other hand. As much as I like the LWCG stands they are a hard cam. I agree on the offset bracket... something like a LW or LWCG would be much nicer for a offset bracket and add some more leveling to the seat post.TBD… I had 2 defective ones. See what a third brings…. Perfect dimensions so I am trying hard to like it. One thing I am pretty certain of though. That beast offset bracket is a terrible design. A true pos…. Shoulda just used a lone wolf bracket like he had on his prototypes.
