I did not design it so I can't take credit for it.
Just received my parts from DanO today taking the beast stick tube to work tomorrow to drill and cut down probably have ever thing ready for the weekend.@KYhunter66 any progress in your stick?
Did you cut both ends off? The bottom of my stick is only about 1/2 inch the top I'm gonna cut 1 inch off it looks the same as your picture. ThanksI still need to add a cam cleat to this one, but someone mentioned a similiar setup. I did shorten the length a bit and drilled my cleat & rope holes today.
This will make zero sense to some, but I paid the initial bat/raptor price which was quite a bit so had to invest/buy more at the reduced price to bring my piece price down.
I decided to not cut the tube down for now after thinking about it. I think it's getting really close to the big hole on the back of the stick. And by using the top and bottom holes like beast video says it makes the standoffs about 19" apart probably better.Yes, which it is close to that. I tried it out just with the interier/rear clamping bolt and it was secure without the front one.
Agree may want to leave more stick under the bottom hole(s).
I'm not sure what you're getting at with #2. You need different hardware?
Probably best to go all the way through the tube if you can especially on the bottom step. I may change that.
They gave me two different sizes on the soc head bolts so you could use either way.The center bolt that attaches the platform to stick, is supposed to thread back to front, but only attach to the front wall of tube. The soc head doesn’t let the bolt go through both walls bc it’s not long enough.
That’s why the beast stick has the larger hole at the top/bottom
Edit: I’ll post pics today when I get home from work

They gave me extra then because the one's for the bracket are regular 7/16The longer ones are to use behind the tube to basically pinch the platform around it. I may try and pick up some 1 1/2” to see if that works
