Rambo bike going on its first hunt.

Do you ever ride to the base of the tree you are hunting from?

I have ridden my non electric fat tire bike right to my tree a couple times. I was hunting off some fire cuts and never touched the ground with boots until 10 ft from my tree.

I saw deer with my bike laying behind the trees hidden in palmettos. Killed a nice buck but I had to climb down and crawl a couple hundred yds to shoot it.

The buck and the other deer with it had to have crossed my trail going to their bedding. They got pushed there by 2 other hunters that were hunting upwind of the area.

I have seen deer get more nervous where hunters have walked as opposed to where they have ridden bikes.

Took a day off Friday and went coyote hunting with Rambo. Popped one dawg and Rambo is awesome, the bike went up a hill that I was not sure it could. Matter a fact, Seals72 was impressed when I told him which hill. I think if you can stay on, it will go, but I'm to old to try to much "STUPIDNESS"......LOL

I noticed that my sprocket was moving from side to side and I called the local authorized rambo bike machanic and asked if the wobble in the sprocket was exceptable. He said no, so off I went to Jackson, TN so he could take a look at it.
He took the wheel off and noticed that there was 2 lock nuts on one side of the hub instead of one on each side. He preceeded to correct the issue, we thought.
After placing the wheel back on the bike, the chain was hitting the bike frame. He said he was going to keep the bike cause the sprocket was not in line and he is going to have to rebuild the hub so everything will align correctly.

Sounded weird but I'm no machanic. Hope they know what their doing!

I also atyached tje tamb game hauler today and my neighbor road i it (215#) for a short ride. No issues

Here is mine Rad rover.
Got my 750 Rambo bike today and I'm headed coyote/pig hunting tomorrow. I'm mainly going to go and check the bike out in the hills, mud, and thru the woods.
I have a Radrover 750 already to hunt . I got a Rambo cart for it and it all works great together. I will post some pics soon. My 2 friends have bikes one has a Quietkat 1000watt and the other has a Rambo 750. My friend with the Quietkat is letting me use the Radrover for this hunting season to see if I would want to buy it. So far I loveit.

This setup is on my wish list for next year. If you can discuss and post pics of the Rad Rover to Rambo cart connection I'd appreciate it.

It attaches to the rear rack but I had to do slight modifications on it. I will get better pics when it stop raining sometime tomorrow. 20180917_131455.jpg

This a thread I can partake in! Been using my Rambo for the last 2 seasons and have made some mods. I will take some pics and share after work today. I will say that changing the rear derailer to a higher end shimano makes for smooth and quite changing of gears. The original cheap one that came on mine had to be constantly adjusted.
Also made splash guards from abs plastic ordered from McMaster Carr.
They make a world of difference when caught riding in the rain.

I modified and old deer cart to attach to the bike.
I also haul my weapon of choice with a sling over my shoulders as I don’t want to attach it to the bike for fear of a wipeout.(yeah that happens) wear a helmet.
eBay has a handle bar light with rechargeable battery that is very bright and lasts.
Also a suspension seat post really helps cushion the ride for those with a bony azz like myself.

I like it! How do you like the tires? What kind of changes have you noticed with them?
Nice job on the doe with the curve. I shoot one as well. Well maybe not as well as you. : )

It has a lot softer rid with the 4.8's and they love to climb, especially if you air them down to around 5 psi! I normally run them around 8 psi.

Brand? Are you using tube liners? I had a thorn puncture the stock tire.
Now I carry a hand pump and patch kit.

Id be too tempted to get down and go for a joy ride instead of sitting hours seeing nothing. lol
