Saddle hunters support thread.

Days with out buying saddle gear.... Back to zero.
I was trying to sell some stuff off to buy a different saddle. But It got me. I pulled the trigger on a CGM Cobra. Mostly paid from the stuff I sold all ready. But not all.
You may have a gear buying problem BUT, at least you don’t also have a hoarding problem. You are a better man than I brother.

Not to add fuel to the fire. But if you want something, now would be the time. This stuff is only going to be more expensive in 6 months and even more expensive next year. None of this is stopping anytime soon lol. With that said..I've got a collection of packs I've acquired in hopes of finding the perfect setup. Why? Because good enough I guess isn't as good as I thought it was...ugh.

Hey, if it only gains in value over the next year, maybe your onto something.

Names jeremy.have to admit I fell off the wagon.its not my falt though its that darn red Beard and. HIS. ideas.i accidently looked at the poor man's pack seat. the word poor.....no money....duh.but then there where mods........and that stuff is just right down there at the hard wear store.
That's actually better than dumping $300 on the actual seat!! But then, you can do an @Red Beard and buy both the Pac Seat and spend the $$ on the Poor Man's Pac seat!!

Gear Junkie Disclaimer: The Pac Seat is Awesome..... highly recommend it!! I know that doesn't help you folk in this arena!!!

Hi....my name is tarafrost, and I am a saddle hunting gear addict. It has been 4 days since my last gear purchase.

I have enrolled in a 12 Step program to help me overcome these compulsions. The 12 Steps to Saddle Hunting Enlightenment are:

1. We admitted we were powerless over saddle hunting — that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that a Saddle Hunter greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of @Red Beard, @Nutterbuster and @tailgunner as we understood Them.

4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our saddle hunting gear.

5. Admitted to saddlehunter.com, to ourselves, and to another saddle hunter the exact nature of our gear addiction.

6. Were entirely ready to have saddlehunter.com remove all these defects of our saddle hunting approach.

7. Humbly asked @John RB to remove our climbing shortcomings.

8. Made a list of all deer we had missed, and became willing to make amends to our freezer this year.

9. Made direct amends to such deer wherever possible, except when to do so would bump them into another county.

10. Continued to take gear inventory and when we were wrong promptly sold such gear on the SH classifieds and bought the latest stuff.

11. Sought through intense study of saddlehunter.com to improve our conscious contact with other Saddle Hunters, as we understood Them, hoping only for knowledge of what tree was best and the skills to climb that tree.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to saddle hunters, and to practice the one true SRT/DRT/JRB/1Stick/2TC technique in all our saddle hunting affairs.

....with apologies to AA, NA and all the other xA programs out there that do good work.

:tearsofjoy:
