Saddle hunters support thread.

Do you guys have a phone number a guy can call before he breaks down?
Kinda like alcohol anonymous?
Looking at a 1K Kifaru and I am having issues resisting!
Only thing saving me is the cash, just put 9 tree stands on Craigs list.
Your wallet will be so much lighter you wont even notice the weight in your pack! :tonguewink:

Just browse the Rokslide classifieds and you'll find the same setup for about half that, unless you want new. You could grab a reg stryker for $150 (a little smaller and no side pockets) and a frame for about $300. Pockets pop up there all the time too.

Thanks for checking. But if I am going to spend any money I want the setup I selected and I prefer new. If I can sell some stands I wont feel too bad about the money. Kinda like recycling. LOL.

A couple of different saddles have tempted me and I have some money in my PayPal from selling some broadheads I didn't really need. But I think my Recon meets most of my needs. I did exchange my medium size for a small. Seems to be a better fit. Sorting through things in my garage. Going to attempt to organize it to make the wife happy. Plus it'll be easier to find things when I need it. Looking at the Wall Control steel pegboard on Amazon. Not really saddle hunting related, but i've been thinking hard about getting the fleece pack for my Windwalker from Treehopper. I'll try to find some more things to sell so I feel less guilty if I end up buying it.

I was having the same issue with a brand new EXO setup a couple months ago. After significant research, my findings were that multiple whiskey shots with a beer chaser is an excellent catalyst for the online lightening of one's wallet.

I will say this however, I really didn't have the correct setup for a multi-day excursion, and this new EXO setup checks all the boxes for me. I've also been wanting to do some multi-day backpacking trips on the North Country Trail and this is really inspiring me, I have a 3 day trip coming up in a couple weeks. I'm hoping to put a pretty nice dent in the NCT 100 challenge over those 3 days.

What's this for? Cuz after seeing it I think I need that.what do I tell my wife she's buying me
:tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: Technically its a front mount binocular case. Honestly I don't even carry binoculars anymore. I was envisioning myself DIYing some sort of a game type pouch attachment for that wide shoulder harness in the back and turning it into a mini-turkey vest type pack to use like I currently pack my turkey vest. In reality I would have bought it and relegated it to my unused "thought it would be a great idea" gear pile. :tearsofjoy:

Well the woman be like.you spend all this time bragging about being so ultralight and compact.and then you defeat the purpose buying more stuff.whats that for .................I don't know....but boyne gots it!it's quadracam!look at its cool.wait till red Beard sees it
Bro you're killing me, please keep that buzz level right where it is.

They make horrible and super heavy packs and accessories. The color selections are horrible and all your friends will laugh at you. Additionally why walk through the woods when you can stay home and watch YouTube videos of the woods? You’ll probably get a blister.

Sounds like it's time for a "My pile is bigger than your pile thread".
Let's just say I need to learn how to sell/dispose of stuff . . . :tearsofjoy: After 45+ years of hunting/fishing my pile is pretty impressive. Between me and my wife our basement is one pair of shoes short of an episode of hoarding. :tearsofjoy:
