Sewing Machine Deals for the DIY Guys

Singer 111W155
$200
Pikeville, NC

Singer 111W155
$300
Watertown, SD

Singer 7-5
$200
Flandreau, SD

This wouldn't really be the machine for sewing saddles (I mean, it could, easily), but a guy could have a lot of fun with this for $200. Or put it to work earning some money for hunting season.

Juki 1541
$1000
Blanchester, OH

This would be a great setup for someone starting their own business. Saves over $500 compared to retail, and includes a speed reducer with the brushed servo motor.

Singer 111W
$150
Orland Park, IL

Compound feed, not sure of which submodel

Highlead GC20618
$600
Athens, TX

Good buy, and has a brushless servo motor. You can set a low and high speed on these, and connect a needle positioner to it for another $30. I can't explain just how useful the needle positioner can be.

Thompson/Sailrite Clone
$280
Loris, SC

Singer 411
$20?
Vassar, MI

Looks like compound feed, huge U? bobbin. The knob on the top should control the lift of the alternating presser feet. This looks like an amazing deal. Missing the lefthand cover plate, but that should be really cheap to replace.

Yamata 8500
$100
Jersey City, NJ

Lighter duty than what I would normally recommend, but the price is AMAZING! It comes with a servo motor that would set you back $130 alone, and it will still perform better than many domestic machines.

Tacsew TLA20U (Singer 20U clone)
$200
Willimantic, CT

Yamata 8500
$100
Jersey City, NJ

Lighter duty than what I would normally recommend, but the price is AMAZING! It comes with a servo motor that would set you back $130 alone, and it will still perform better than many domestic machines.

If a guy were to get this one, they would then be able to drop pretty much any heavy duty machine they found later into the table, and already have an upgraded motor. Could also swap the machines out between the table (the oil pan probably lifts right out) to use each as needed for certain operations.

Singer 211 (not sure if needle feed or compound feed)
unknown price
Ellijay, GA

Thompson PW201 (This is what the Sailrite is based on)
$275
Covington, LA
