SHIKAR Aiders

Hey guys, I just got my LWCG cable Aiders in the mail and got them installed so I figured I’d share. I’ve been using a CAYG one step aider last season with my 3 API “beast sticks” and got fairly comfortable with it although it still felt cumbersome at times depending on the tree and Bulky clothing I was wearing. I think the cables will be the ticket. I climbed with 4 sticks to a platform height of 20’ 6” this is a great upgrade IMO. Love the sticks, love the cables, love how compact and light weight they are. (7.24lbs for 4 sticks with cable aiders)

My versa aider should be coming any time. I just got the mini and scout platform in last week...… how did you like this for one sticking? Are you going to put the scout platform on the top or bottom?

aight, im looking for a way to carry them in a package and be able to pull each stick as I need. not really wanting to mess around taking them off my pack and all that nonsense just get there and climb like the we steps in a kydex holster. im sure Ill come up with something, just gotta get the creative juices flowing

strap you bow/gun to your pack and carry sticks in your hand.

I think your missing the point. I don’t wanna carry ****. obviously I can’t carry sticks in my hand as I climb and I dont want to hang sticks from my saddle where theyswing as I climb. I want something they clip into like talons on my pack so I just reach back there and pop one off when I need them one at a time. For 1” tubular sticks this has been solved. The shikars are different

Yeah I’ve been in contact with him over a different design element. This is more what I’m thinking. I want a solid mount that holds all four sticks and can attach to the molle on the saddle or a molle pack. Not individual stick clips as he has made
 
I'd like to see a scout platform that's just big enough to turn around on and shoot to the week side.
 
Does anyone see any issue with drilling a hole in the top of the stick? Exactly like the one at the bottom. Also, if anyone has any 17"laying around, what's the distance between the bottom standoff and versa button? I'm going to make some daisy chains and my sticks are a few weeks out. Thanks

Hey, I'm just catching this thread but have you talked to cbigbear about his talons? I've got mine mounted to my pack so I just pull them off as I climb (one each side). Sorry if this had already been covered, just trying to help. Got a video if you haven't already seen it

There isn’t any room above the top standoff for you to drill a hole like the bottom.
Distance from the top of the bottom step and center of the versa button is 11.25 inches
