Show Us Those Hunting Bikes

I don't have a picture but gear transport has been far more difficult then I anticipated. I have a rear rack that I zip tied a large milk crate too for gear storage. But all I can fit in it is my backpack. I have to carry my tree stand and sticks on my back for the ride. Which is extremely frightening to know I have a v bracket at my neck and sharp sticks to mutilate my body and arms in the event of a crash, which has almost happened twice already on rocks and a 45° angle wet branch on the ground. I bungee my clothes to the stand as well. But the biggest hurdle is room for my weapon. I have handlebars that swoop up slightly, so no handlebar weapon mounts work. I tried putting the bow/crossbow onto the back of the stand as well but that makes something already awkward extremely awkward. I've been nite izing my weapon across the top of the milk crate but as you can imagine, it isn't stable and a disaster waiting to happen.
The only solution in my case is either go back to saddle, so I can get this awkward stand off my back and fit all my stuff in the rear crate. Or get a cart and tow all my gear in that. My current setup now is a accident waiting to happen. My good ol two feet are likely gonna be my main ride this year and figure this out for next year

I have a Himiway but bought a large flat rack from Rad River and zip tied it to the normal rack that came with the back. I put stealth strips on the rack to silence it. My Summit climber fits perfect.

Curious…what’s the reason for no WD40?
I was always told wd40 is more of a cleaner unless you have parts that are moving really quickly, so on a bike chain it just strips out whatever lube was there before and leaves it somewhat metal on metal.

Apparently wd40 makes a bicycle specific chain lube now so I guess that's probably fine, I was referring to the generic spray that we used to have to spray on my mom's old vans spark plug wires when it rained to make the car run right lol I'm sure that was an approved use

Make sure to check your government auctions. Most cities do property auctions for abandoned, seized and found property. A ton of bikes go through. A lot can be found for higher end parts for very cheap.

How do you ride with the long bow?
Same way, it sits in those mounts. Before I had the mounts I just carried it in the one hand. The bow string sat on the handlebar and my hand went over it. The mounts are much nicer.

Evidently my budget is lower than most of the other guys on here. Anyway I need to work within my budget and work with what I've got....

You must have some nice wide trails. I’d be terrified of riding with a long bow strapped width wise around my hunting areas, particularly in the dark.

I'm using a foldable bike. Thought it would take less space and able to put in backseat if needed. Probably be easier on a full size but so far it's worked well in flat country.
