Show Us Those Hunting Bikes

It’s fine. Hard to find anything that fits a crossbow well, but I think this set is about as good as it gets since the jaws are adjustable.. It would be better if my handle bars were more of a “flat” construction. The bars on my bike are kind of angled upward toward the grips, which makes the holders angle toward each other and creates some challenges making things line up as well as making the distance between the two holders kind of short. I’ve used them about 6 times with no problems, bow is secure, it’s way better than carrying it on my back or strapping it to the crate in the back, and it lets me focus on operating the bike in rough terrain.
I have the same exact issue with my bike. I tried two handlebar mounts already and neither held my tenpoint enough for my liking. What is yours?

Get a Gator grip. It’ll hold a crossbow, gun or regular bow. Works great on my bike with my crossbow.

It’s fully adjustable, 360 swivel and the jaws open up. $35. I’ve actually had thought of mounting them on the ends of my handle bar grips. I think that would work well. They are ok for now so I haven’t bothered with it, but you may have just spurred me to give it a go.39119594-BD7C-4E7A-B654-1CFCFA2498F1.jpeg

The R26 is short, but the Gator grip still locks it down so it doesn’t move.

Thank you! Just installed them and they hold my tenpoint rock solid

Show us your bike setups of all kinds! Motorized or otherwise.

After lots and lots of research, prowling, selling, trading, and deal searching, I finally just finished my DIY e-bike project.

Here is mine to start the thread:

1000W bafang mid drive with a 42-tooth sprocket for hills, 17 amp hour Panasonic cell battery, dpc18 display with USB so I can charge my phone, headlight batteries etc off of my bike battery if need be. Big ole fat tires that so far have liked rolling over just about any surface. I will probably eventually add an air fork and an integrated headlight but right now its an absolute beast and I have zero complaints. This frame is very light and nimble compared to how much it cost. I have been shocked by the kind of hills I can climb on this bike and how quickly it gets me around with such little effort. I like that since I built it I know each component intimately and I can replace, repair, or upgrade them as I see fit from readily available parts without going through a manufacturer. Cannot wait to zip around our farm on this thing scouting, hunting, picking up sheds, and chasing turkeys.View attachment 74641

Update, I have about 100 miles on this build now and I am happier than ever. I will be installing a front air fork at some point as the rigid fork is tough on my hands even with the tire pressure down. The ability to slip in and pull a card or get set up with very little sound and save a bunch of time is unparalleled where I hunt and in the stage of life I am in right now with little ones at home and a busy work life

How's it ride on the handlebars. I put mine on the back rack on my Bakcou Mule.

It rides good. No issues at all. I think I’d rather be looking at it than have it behind me, just in case it wiggles up on a bump, which can happen. If I’m on a bad logging road or rough gravel road, I’ll put a bungee cord around it just for some extra protection.

Here’s my Rad Runner. It’s not much but it gets the job done for me. I use it mostly to just buzz around my neighborhood going to several stands I hunt and to check trail cams. It was the number 1 reason I shot my buck this year though as that buck was bedding right close to where I used to park my truck. That day he had no clue I was anywhere around.

Got white walls an er'thang.

What grips are those? I assume that's a palm rest?

It is some kind of a palm rest grip. It came on the bike when I bought it new. I’m not sure what the brand of grip it is. It’s a really comfortable grip though.

I mountain bike (well used to before kid) but it looks like a good idea. Never seen them before.

Check these out.

But the Ergon grips look better than these…
