"SITTER" or a "LEANER"

Each of us do what ever makes us comfortable but why not wear it? I expect non saddlehunters to ask some questions when I’m wearing this shirt! Great conversation starter? Maybe? Let me know if anyone wants the new HangTime “sitter or leaner?” shirt. Inspired by the man, the myth, the leaner @denots

Before I started saddle hunting, I thought for sure I'd be a sitter. I am most definitely a leaner. Every now and then I sit with my knees against the tree but I am having more and more sits where I lean 100% of the time. I do find the Mantis more comfortable for leaning as others have mentioned before.

75 lean 20 sit 5 stand. If I think I might catch a nap I tend to sit as well.

My mind can’t get past Sitter being on top. Just seems like it should be on the bottom and leaner should be on top.

This is a cool idea. Nice looking shirts as usual. I agree with @swampsnyper . @denots is indeed a mythical creature. If you come to Saddlepalooza you’ll see !!!!

I'm am leaner, for sure. I only sit when I want to remember what it was like to be a tree stand hunter. But hey if you like to sit you should get a shirt to announce it loud and proud, don't be ashamed. Got my leaner shirt on the way! Thanks again @Jefferson10940.

Can someone explain to me why you lean? I honestly don't understand. I sit in my saddle because my butt is made for sitting. I only use the steps around the tree to move myself around the tree or to offer a brief position change. I may lean when I'm getting into position for a shot but I can also shoot from sitting if the shot is directly to my strong side. I've seen a couple comments on why people lean that I don't understand. I don't feel that I'm anymore ready if I'm leaning than if I'm sitting.

I find it more comfortable to lean. I sit to mix it up, I also am not a fan of wearing knee pads if I do not have to. When I sit I always use the tree. I feel more mobile leaning to stay out of line of sight and to prepare for the shot.
