I have met and talked with Andrew on a bunch of occasions and he is a solid guy trying to help all saddle hunters to have a better experience and give them top notch equipment.

I agree with Zac all of these small companies face the same challenges and problems of trying to meet the demands of the growing number of saddle users. Unfortunately, the demand outpaces their ability to supply and sometimes it's due to circumstances beyond their control.

We have more options now than ever for both saddles and saddle related accessories, when I first joined this site we had one a used Trophyline Treesaddle or nothing at all. Since then we now have several commercial options and numerous DIY as well. In the last two years it's been like Christmas for saddle hunters compared to the old days.

All of the saddle companies would like to be able to meet the needs of all the saddle users, no business wants unsatisfied customers or they won't stay in business very long, unfortunately sometimes suppliers can't meet their needs or other unforeseen things happen and they can only apologize.

I know for some it is disappointing and hard to wait when you want to be in the woods hunting out of a saddle but I assure you no one involved with any of the saddle manufacturers would ever intentionally keep a customer waiting. It is bad for their business and bad for their customer relations.

Roger,

Well the YARAK has been delivered. I'm stuck working OT at the firehouse for this Hurricane (Dorian). I'll get to play with it tomorrow when I get home. Will post pictures and a video for sure ASAP.
Same here, but no hurricane. Picked up 64 hours OT and I'm stuck here at work on my third double in a row with the weekend yet to work lol. I at least got a picture sent to me of the box lol. Can't wait to hear what you think about it!

I admit I arched an eyebrow when I saw the email. Not because seeing the word sh#t offended me but because it is unusual to see something worded like that in an official communication from a business. I initially thought that it would upset some people, then I thought, nah nobody would be offended by something silly like that. Then I found this thread lol. Wow.
Seriously I really dont get why people would even give that email a second thought. To each his/her own I guess...

Yes guys Lydia, Andrews sister, sent the email. I will admit it wasn't the best tactic. They were trying to apologize and make light of a already bad situation. That didn't happen. I've spoken with Andrew and he really was doing what he thought was best and what was right. He hates how this has went over and he feels terrible about it. Not bec sales but bec his reputation. He is doing everything in his power to bring the best saddle equipment he can to everyone and some bad decisions have kind of tarnished that. Just remember these are small companies with people with very little experience and knowledge about business. But they are learning from mistakes today! Dont bail on a good company guys. They will learn from this. Their good people. But they aren't perfect. I steel believe in what they stand for
Zacrowsl The emails didn’t bother me as much as wild edge giving a release date to buy a in stock product. When they said that you could go to the website and buy a yarak on September 1st on a first come first serve basis. I’m not sure why they decided to do the lottery. Maybe they didn’t have as many saddles as they thought they would. Either way, whatever the reason I would have really appreciated some transparency here. If they would have said we are sorry but we only have 100 saddles and when they are gone we are done until inventory comes back up. People could understand that. That is what wild edge said they would do. To me that’s fair. But, when you have a release date and 2 days before that date you say we are going to do a lottery to try and get some saddles in the hands of our customers. It makes it seem a little shady. I know that a lot of people didn’t have a saddle for deer season that could have gotten on the waiting list for a Tethrd mantis or a flex from Aerohunter, but the didn’t because they thought they had a chance to buy one from wild edge and receive it before the season started. From the looks of the yarak I think it is going to be an awesome saddle. Maybe one day I’ll get the chance to try it out. I also would like to say that wild edge makes some great products. I hope that they don’t lose to many customers over what I would consider a bad decision. Be honest and keep your word. Give people a great product and they will respect you and keep coming back... Thanks

I'm not trying to take a cheap shot at you or anyone else but knowing how products sell in this industry and knowing I needed a saddle for the upcoming season I think it's insane to wait til last minute for an unproven brand new product that may sell out in 5 mins. I see that as a fault of the individual and not the company. Just my opinion

. My opinion is that you missed the point I was making. It is miss leading for a business to tale customers weeks ahead of time that a product will be for sale on a certain date on a website as a first come first serve basis. Then 2 days before the release date , say oh we are doing a lottery instead. Maybe they did that so that lazy people didn’t have to get up early to buy it of the website. I’m also glad that you know all that you do about this industry. Some of us are just getting started in saddle hunting. I really appreciate all the helpful advice you just gave about saddle hunting. I guess people should know how it works, what all the need, when and what to buy before they take up something new. I also managed to find a saddle, but even if I didn’t I still have other stands I can use. By the way enjoy your brand new unproven product.

I'm sure I will. Its a shame that you apparently joined this site to rant and complain being that this is your 13th post and your already throwing out aggressive posts about how things aren't going your way. Your entitled to your views and opinions on what you think a business should or should not do but I am also entitled to my own opinions as well. If that offends you that's your loss.
