Anyone make it out this morning? I'm at work all day.. Tommorow and Monday is still supposed to be like 80 in Michigan here. May try to go Monday morning.

In Savannah on vacation this weekend. Might get out after work Tuesday to a spot I scouted over the summer. Wasn’t the most promising place but if the oaks are dropping over there it could be.
Friday is the bama opener and I’ll be out Friday-Sunday on our property. It’s buck only for the first 10 days so hopefully I can run into one.

Me and my 7 year old daughter are gonna go out tomorrow to some public and try to find some turkeys to bother, hoping to find a good feed tree and set up in my saddle on the ground and see what shows up

What part of bama? I’m on Huntsville. Friday can’t get here soon enough. Looks like a cold front next weekend as well.

Haven't been out since Thursday's outing and took a couple of days off for my body to recover and get all my gear and clothing cleaned up and ready. Getting back in the saddle this evening hunting the hill behind my property and then tomorrow driving to my secret honey hole where I've got a good looking target buck on camera. Not sure if he can add to our team points but he's too nice to pass up.

Keep getting closer and closer. Would’ve had a doe down if I was a lefty but just couldn’t get that 3-5 o clock shot out of the tree I was in.
Also the wind kept shifting back and forth opposite directions the entire time I was set up and had a couple blowing at me in a river bottom closer to dark. Caught a glimpse of them but they where probably 75-100 yards away.

I’ve only got to hunt one evening and one morning so far this season. I’m taking a 3 day weekend this coming weekend to camp/hunt a WMA a couple hours from home. I only got to scout this place once this year and it’s muzzleloading opener on Saturday, so not sure how it will go. I’m just looking forward to getting in the woods. I’ve usually put at least one down by now, so I’m feeling a little pressure.
