Got out this morning saw a nice 8 just out of bow range. Saw 6 deer total but was expecting a bit more movement. I took off tomorrow morning as well. Im excited about this week!

Saw 4 this morning, all single does and all within 15 yds. Have to head home this afternoon, will be back in a tree on Thursday morning.
My brother killed a 145” main frame 8 last night. It was a liver shot so we waited a few hours to go after him. Sadly the yotes got thereMy patience is wearing thin. I saw buck I’ve been chasing crossing the rd a mile from where I’ve been hunting him yesterday. He hasn’t been on camera since the night I got here so I’m going to greener pastures. I’m hunting a cut bean field e with rye in it, on the edge of a draw. There are 2-3 Booners in here we think. Well there were yesterday, so we will see.
Oh, and the 1st buck I posted was David’s 1st archery deer, and it will be a Booner. 172-4/8’s is what we scored it.

Well fellas, I missed a big 8pt this evening. I bounced it off a limb 1 minute before shooting light ended. I shaved his belly, but no blood on the arrow or in his tracks across the field. I did have a pile of hair at the shot site. I hate I missed him, but that’s bow hunting. Im going to go kill him tomorrow. He’s got a buddy that was with him that may actually been a 10 that was just as big if not bigger. He will get missed too, lol.

Well I’ve been mia for awhile now but I believe I shot a young 8 point this morning on the quota hunt I drew. Been giving him a good amount of time but I think he piled up 30 yards away. Been waiting on a doe to come through too but about to go look for him around 10 and will keep y’all posted.

I'm home from Chicago, just finished packing for my OH Rutcation, hitting the road in the morning! 10 days of deer camp coming up!
Getting ready this morning. Was going public then pulled a card on a piece of private last night. Have a picture of a possible 8, wanted to see if i see him this morning to get a better look?
Perfect morning this morning. 25F leaving camp and just a hint of a NE breeze. Nothing but squirrels so far but nevertheless a beautiful morning to be in a tree.
Passed on a doe about half hour ago. But man beautiful morning!!!
Had a reasonable 8 point skirt around me a bit ago. Didn't present a shot but I did get video of him. Bottom line is I set up in the wrong tree this morning in the dark. Had I set up in the first tree I looked at I might have had a shot.
Video review makes him a 7, no right brow tine, so its just as well he didn't present me with a shot. I would have to endure good natured grief from my buddies for shooting baby bucks. 
Even so he's the biggest bodied deer I've seen from the tree this year. Also on a high note I'm 15 for 16 sits seeing deer from the tree since I set up camp the last time. Now to find the big guys . . .
