Tethrd One Sticks Gen 2

Imagine if Mathews put out a bunch of stinker bows, had you send them back in, and then sent them back with tool marks all over them. They wouldn't expect to get away with that and they wouldn't even try.

No way in hell would I be okay with that!!! I would be on the phone demanding replacements plus some for your inconvenience…. That’s BS!!!

Thank you for the reply. Yah, I went back after my post and re-read the recall notification to see if i missed something about it stating you wouldn't receive sticks in the same condition you sent them, but it didn't.

I did email Tethrd. Just asked them about condition of sticks and replacement reflective tabs. I'll let you all know the reply.

We recognize that our testing process needs to be improved, but rest assured that our patent pending harmonic strengthening system has made your steps and tube stringer my a factor of 5.

By placing your tube/post in a vice grip and beating areas identified by our engineering team with a 2lb hammer and titanium chisel, we were able to add game changing structural integrity to your sticks. Ultimately this will allow you to climb and hunt harder for the next 1 seasons.

Unfortunately we are still working out how to not mar the finish of the stick. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please ship the sticks back in a separate box and we will apply our patent pending Krylon Rattlecan finish which should be available soon. Your complete safety and satisfaction is our main goal.

The only way for that to be successful is if their competition drives them out of business, or if they get sued. I don't foresee anyone else out-competing them any time soon, in part because of existing fan base, in part shoddy business practices are hard to compete with without cutting corners yourself. I am surprised there hasn't been more lawsuits, either as a result of injury, or class action due to defects etc. I don't know enough about the law though, I suppose they are doing their best to stay just this side of legal

They should send you a replacement tab, and a stealth strip kit…
 
I've decided if I don't have a call back or refund by Friday I'm filing a dispute with Citi.
