The No-Shame Thread

I've seen more deer from my office then I have in the woods this year.
I've gotta everything ready the night before and never went more times then not this year
I think the more cute the animal the tastier, I've bought easter rabbits that kids get sick of and hopper popper them and eat. Yum...

A lady we know does photography with those dang rabbits and chicks and asked if we wanted them. She retracted the offer when I let it slip I intended to butcher them. :(

I started raising farm animals to eat for several reasons but a big one was to get used to waking up early everyday so It would be easier to get up during hunting season. My wife insisted she hated animals and would only cook them after the fact. My wife now feeds and takes care of ALL the animals every morning, even if I’m awake I sit and play on my phone while she spends at least an hour feeding and shoveling sh..
I’ve hunted one morning so far and yes I have an awesome wife. And yes we are eating good!

I prefer to hunt with others. Going out alone gets boring to me.

I've killed many deer and if it's not a big one, I don't shoot it. (Until Gun Season roles around, then if it's brown it down)

I give all my deer away. No one in my family will eat it.

I'd rather shoot a coyote than a deer. They are way harder to call and kill.

I shoot several squirrels a year while sitting in the tree. Gives me something to do when I am bored and not seeing deer.

I had a doe walk right up behind me last week. Never heard her coming and she busted me while I was getting down.

I have no sense of direction. I use my phone a gps and a compass and can still easily get turned around.
Killed a deer on evening hunt at the end of an old road with flagging and I got so turned around a friend had to honk his train horn way to many times and flash a spotlight to get me out.

I know my bottom step on my one stick is so loose its about to fall off and my amsteel needs to be replaced. Too stubborn to take 30 seconds and fix/replace.

one time...I shot a fawn...and i liked it

My first 2 shots at a deer this year........missed. I then blamed the arrows, not myself.
