Thought this looked interesting.

Looks like that guy opted for the brush grabber extensions on his pack.

The girth & height look similar between these 2 setups!!!!

Yeeeah... Not sure how seriously I take a picture where the Heliums aren't cut down and converted to daisy chains. Otherwise that pack looks as big as my milsurp rucksack but with wings added. I'll have to listen to that podcast for info on weight, material & capacity.

To be fair, you are comparing the height to the top of the sticks which are well above the top of the pack and the girth is hard to guess without knowing what is in the bag. It doesn't look like it sticks out any farther from his back then my MR popup, If I was to have the sticks on the load shelf and the bag full of clothes.

Just comparing apples to apples, assuming both setups are hunt ready. Exactly why I don’t encourage the use of full length sticks in a saddle setup, but some do. Height is similar. Assuming the bag is full of clothing, cam gear, snacks, or whatever it similar size to the girth of a Summit Goliath. You can fit the same stuff within the frame work of the Summit so girth is comparable.

I totally get you can hunt from a saddle & still carry a crap ton of gear. If so this pack would be a good fit. However, I don’t see it being more mobile than a Summit climber.

Yeah, I get that. I only need the extra room when packing out a deer. Maybe it's just me but, to my eye the pics don't make it look much bigger then the MR PU or the Eberlestock X2. Or maybe it's wishful thinking on my part because I am still looking for a bag that checks all the boxes. The MR PU 28 is the closest for me so far but, still isn't perfect. If this bag carries weight well, is quiet, cinches down when not using the main compartment but, still has enough room to pack out a deer, it has potential. I'm intrigued enough to keep an eye on it.

Have you looked at the HH Full Curl Combo? or Full Curl Lite?

Yeah, I looked at the combo before buying the Pop Up. The Pop up is really close to perfect and carries awesome. My only real complaint is it can be a little noisy when walking through brush or taking it off at the base of the tree. Probably not noisy enough to matter but, noisy enough to make me wonder if it does. I plan on washing it and working the fabric with a brush to try to make it a little quieter, just haven't got to it yet.

This will be the first year saddle hunting for me and I just got a kifaru stryker today. I think this will be a great pack for saddle hunting that will also be able to function out west and in just about any situation imaginable. I've been through dozens of packs and I'm thinking this one may be a keeper.

What frame did you get with the Stryker? Been looking at this pack since I seen Snyder use it. How did you attach the predator to the pack?

I bought a duplex hunter frame used. For the predator platform, the bag has a loop on the bottom meant as a handle. The bottom of the platform sat down in that perfectly, then I fed a long rubber gear tie through the pals and attached the top of of the platform with it.

For anyone that's had hands on both the Badlands Superday and MR Treehouse, is there much different in size between the two? I have the superday and like it, though it's bigger than I really need, especially as it hangs on the tree. Treehouse shows to be about 50 ci smaller, but I'm curious if that's really noticeable?

Ive never seen a superday in person but i own a MR Treehouse, i dont think it would be noticeable because the treehouse maintains its shape full or empty whereas the superday looks like it can be compressed down when not loaded. Hopefully someone who has owned both can chime in.
