"The official saddle hunting backpack thread"

I never realized how many options there are for backpacks. It's rather over whelming. I do like the flip down shelf style when in the tree. Such as the G3 treestand, Timber Hawk Killshot, or the Alps Pursuit Edge. I may have missed it, but didn't see anyone mention these. Does anyone have experience with these?

I think it is over priced but figured I’d post it may be of some interest to someone.

I was overwhelmed with so many choices so I used a combo pack. I had a mystery ranch pop up 28 and a sitka fanatic pack. Took the bag off of the mystery ranch pop up 28 and replaced it with the Sitka Fanatic pack. Going to add a panel of durable material to the Fanatic pack to attach to the frame and replace some buckles. This will be a perfect marriage.

That sounds awesome, please post pics with your outcome!

this is how I’m running my eberlestock x2 and how I fixed the short torso issue everyone talks about

Well I know what I’m getting for fathers day, birthday and Christmas.

Start hunting eBay, Rokslide, and others. I don't think they're currently selling them. Keep an eye out for their Scout and Tailgunner as well if you like the Hellcat.

Thanks. I have been. They don’t come up very often. A few on eBay but they are through the roof on pricing.

One point to consider beyond quality and what seems to be a more agile product line, is that Kifaru is made in the US.
That sounds great......... if the materials are made in the USA, otherwise it is like buying a toyota because some parts are assembled in the USA. If the materials are outsourced from China, the assembled in the USA tag can be sewn on at a factory here and “ technically” it was assembled in the USA. I have bought products advertised as made in America that were in fact made in Mexico, technically that is North America. Advertisers are crafty that way. If all of the materials are made in the USA I will but one today!

It’s my understanding that both Kifaru and the hill people gear are 100% sourced and made in America. I’m sure there are others, but unfortunately they are few and far between these days.

So which one be will you be buying?
