Yeahh i have a little pouch on the inside molle. I got this pack specifically for the pockets is has already and placement of them.I do it more for the organization than needing the space.

What straps are you using?View attachment 71548
Early season pack. That predator pack is handy. Especially with the new pouches you can add now.
I’m starting to lean the other way… I haven’t found a “weak framed” / minimalist pack that really does it for me. Any time I start to add any extra gear (couple trail cameras, maybe camera gear, cold layers) I’m wishing I had a better carrying pack on. Was eyeballing Kuiu last night but can’t get myself to pull the trigger, maybe next year. I have an old Osprey that I use for all other purposes than hunting, and it just hauls gear so well. I try to be minimalist but many hunts pull me the other way, so I guess my pack needs to reflect that.Has anyone we t away from taking their meat packing type pack every trip out? To just a minimalist pack?

Yes. Depends on where I'm hunting though. So far this year I've just had a little waist pack since I haven't needed any extra layers really. Switching to a 1 stick and not having layers to carry in made it so I had nothing extra that needed to be attached to a pack. Once it gets colder I'll start using my Popup 28 again.Has anyone we t away from taking their meat packing type pack every trip out? To just a minimalist pack?
Using the badlands monster fanny pack. So far I am pleased. I hunt on private land so I’m not hauling much in or out on my hunts.

100%, but all depends on where I am hunting. I have been rocking the Bandit pack with my one stick/mission set up when I am hunting close and I have back up to drag out a deerHas anyone we t away from taking their meat packing type pack every trip out? To just a minimalist pack?
For my platform, I just use a night ize gear tie. I also use those to attach my sticks when climbing up a tree. Those have to be the best saddle hunting accessory out there!I use the same pack. I don’t see how it can get any better… lightweight, perfect minimalist size. Carry sticks, platform, calls, food and water. Which I have a predator pack gear tied to the back part to carry my platform.

Do you think a millennium m7 microlite would hang on the suspension part of it. It would be great for early season. I know a platform would but not sure about the m7Using the badlands monster fanny pack. So far I am pleased. I hunt on private land so I’m not hauling much in or out on my hunts.
