Trad bow deals

A local guy is selling off some stuff due to shoulder issues. My buddy just bought a Brackenberry Drifter with two limb sets, quiver and 2 dozen arrows for $200.

I'm meeting him this week to pick up a Bear Kodiak ($75), and look at a Bear k4, and an original custom Fedora.

Can you please keep an eye out for any lefties? Thank you kind sir.

I do have a 41#, '56 Bear Grizzly, duel shelf, static tip I'm not sure what to do with. Excellent for its age. I considered learning lefty but may be persuaded to let it go.

If you are in the Colorado Springs, CO area or know someone who is. THIS is something you need to keep an eye out. Too bad its a pickup only item. Or else I would consider it. Beautiful bow.

That's a really cool looking bow. I've never heard of Jim Bow, I wish I could see what weight it was in the pics.

I wonder if we have any members from Colorado Springs on here that would be willing to ship it to me?....hmmmm.

Zoomed into the picture. 60 AMO at 38lbs.

Probably a small custom maker. I actually have something with a similar story. Not related. But a few months ago I won a bow with a delaminated limb for $0.99 with $15 shipping, its right handed and I for fun bid $2 didn't thinking I would win. It was a Black Widow 'homage' made in 1991 by a gentleman name Allen Corn in Tennessee. He knew the owners of Black Widow bows for decades and uses their design. Call it the 'Cornstalker', but he only does it for hobbies and built like 5 bows a year mostly by request. I was able to contact him and we chat for a little. Really nice guy. He said he can make replacement limbs if I send him the riser. Total honesty here, the price he quoted was very in line and fair with what others are charging for a set of custom limbs. Which is to say OUT of my budget haha. I respectfully thank him for his time but told him I probably would not be able to buy them at this moment. He told me it was understandable and I can try making limb myself, its not hard once you get the hang of it. That I can order kits from Bingham Projects.

Anyway now I have a nice riser and 1 limb that is in my collection for another project for when final kid leave house OR retirement (if I ever retire).

But look really nice, anyone know what material is the stripes? It look clear.

Time to make room.
Rare 50# Super Mag 48. Matte black w/ string. Great bow for a short draw person. PM a number for pics.....lets say $60 plus shipping.

For you righties. This might be a chance at owning a classic bow. Not that I would of been able to afford it, but the world is cruel to lefties!!!

That took for ever lol.

I know. I was on the verge of sending him a PM seconds after he posted it. Two things stopped me, my 30" draw and the fact that I traded @kbetts for a longbow a couple years ago and I haven't shot more then 10 arrows through it. It was still tempting though.
