Probably a small custom maker. I actually have something with a similar story. Not related. But a few months ago I won a bow with a delaminated limb for $0.99 with $15 shipping, its right handed and I for fun bid $2 didn't thinking I would win. It was a Black Widow 'homage' made in 1991 by a gentleman name Allen Corn in Tennessee. He knew the owners of Black Widow bows for decades and uses their design. Call it the 'Cornstalker', but he only does it for hobbies and built like 5 bows a year mostly by request. I was able to contact him and we chat for a little. Really nice guy. He said he can make replacement limbs if I send him the riser. Total honesty here, the price he quoted was very in line and fair with what others are charging for a set of custom limbs. Which is to say OUT of my budget haha. I respectfully thank him for his time but told him I probably would not be able to buy them at this moment. He told me it was understandable and I can try making limb myself, its not hard once you get the hang of it. That I can order kits from Bingham Projects.
Anyway now I have a nice riser and 1 limb that is in my collection for another project for when final kid leave house OR retirement (if I ever retire).
But look really nice, anyone know what material is the stripes? It look clear.
