Is anyone else already dreaming up mods?? I think this is gonna be a quality product, however, I may look into adding some raptor buckles to the waist and leg straps
Don't apologize, I wasn't placing blame, sorry if it came across that way.
I am a borderline 34" waist and like I said often hunt in heavy clothes so it might be just the ticket.
Thanks for sharing!
I'm probably cutting the waist buckle off. I know why they added it (platform users) but the old one was just fine without it.Is anyone else already dreaming up mods?? I think this is gonna be a quality product, however, I may look into adding some raptor buckles to the waist and leg straps
TLs always ran big
At weights from 175-210 I was fine with my old Med TL Ambushes
Large was still unnecessarily big
I’m still over 200 and would pick a M/L based on how much bigger it was than the size 2 Nutter laid it next to

Maybe I screwed up then.
No experience with the pads, but the pouches are the bees knees. Quieter fabric, drawstring and magnetic closures, just really quiet and well made. Which pouch did you get?
That's pretty standard verbiage on most safety harnesses.Did anyone see that the trophy line tree saddle needs to be retired after 5 years? Is this normal? Or is it just recommended due to an (over)abundance of caution?
Inspections & Retirement
It is very important that your Tree Saddle, Ropes and Carabiners be in good working condition. Always inspect before and after every use.trophyline.com
Didn’t stop me from ordering ... order number 1243. Should be to me on Friday.

All safety harnesses have a retire by date. The old trophylines had them too but there’s plenty of 20 year old trophylines in good working order. Kind of a cya for a lack of maintenance and inspection.Did anyone see that the trophy line tree saddle needs to be retired after 5 years? Is this normal? Not all of them. Some are leaving it up to the end user which I think is a bad Idea.Ah - good to know. Do other saddles have similar verbiage?

Got 2 vintage pouches and the knee pads. Anyone have experience with these?
