Hey guys,

I know this isn't quite on the topic of saddles, or hunting. But has anyone here ever had weight loss surgery or considered it? I've considered it myself here lately. Just curious if any of you had been through it.

Been doing keto for 7 weeks, down 25 lbs. stick to it for like 3 weeks it becomes normal but it is tough at first.

keto worked for me as well, 80 pounds lost in 6 months, but I was also working construction.
That's awesome man. I'm starting it first thing tomorrow. I sit on my ass 12 hrs a day as a console Operator these days unfortunately, so I don't expect to see quite the same outcome, but I appreciate you guys, seriously. Big boys gotta drop the pounds.

That’s the cool part about keto. The body does the work. Basically it gets the liver back into shape

PM me your email and I’ll share a book with ya.

Also google 2 keto dudes. And dr Ken Barry. All over the social webs is Dr Eric Berg.

Tons of info out there. If tried to a desk, after first couple weeks add in intermittent fasting. Warning the first 72 hours can and will be hard. Headaches. Generally pissyness. So be prepared. And it takes about 3 weeks to get into it. And 6 weeks or so to become fat adapted. Good news is that everything is better with bacon.

I’ve been off the wagon. But I’ll hop back on with ya.

And if you want to look into surgery, you have to loose a portion in your own to qualify. So keto makes that doable

I’ll send you Taking Out The Carbage; The Big Bad Book Of Bacon. Lots of recipes and such. But the first 70 or so pages are a great read and a little of the science.

There’s tons to geek out own.....

You can do it, I went from 255 to 175 and it was a life changer, my joints don't hurt, I'm not a slave to my stomach anymore. The big key to keeping the "keto flu" at bay is electrolytes, sodium, potassium and magnesium will need to be supplemented in your routine, I do it by dropping a scoop of lite salt into a gallon of water for the day and taking magnesium pills at night(also helps with sleep). PM me if you need any tips, pointers or help, I've been on this diet for 3 years

6'4" 321 as of this morning.

Any questions feel free to ask. I’ve been keto for a little over two years. 6’5” and started at 337. Down to mid 260’s depending on the day but not losing much now but I’m fine with that. Maybe start adding some exercise to try to get it moving again but I feel much better and I’ll never go back to eating carbs.

I was 216lbs went on keto 3 years ago and got down to 156lbs. I was a bit thin at that weight so I gained a bit to 170lbs. I have been eating carbs lately and having some GI distress. I would like to get back to strictly keto.

I sent him a link to it on amazon
It’s what I use
I found out after the flu
Day 3 I felt like a train wreck

That's awesome man. That's about where I would like to be. I was 260 as a sophomore in high school and that was a good build for me honestly.

Awesome information man. I can't tell you guys enough how much I appreciate all the info.

Went from 280 to 220 doing Keto in about 6 months. As Squatch said, get past those first few weeks and you are money afterwards. Also amazing how well it made me feel energy wise.
