Well that was close (bowstring broke) round 2

Have you shot it yet. What are your thoughts snd if it’s to loud put a sm strip of Velcro in the lower section of the string grooves where string contacts the limb. Like maybe a 2” section in that area
I shot it and it wasn’t too bad but I’m playing with the brace height now. I adddd small catwiskers from the old string but I think groove silencers would be good for it too.

I use to wrap the string with yarn but I found those small foam tubes from 3 rivers and I feel they are the best to silence string slap the Velcro works good and you don’t need to use much just where string contacts the limbs

No problem I have shot them all over the years and ILF and DAS bows are all I shoot now days and as I feel they are the most tunable and adjustable bows out there but with that being said I’m considering getting a short Korean horse style bow to hunt with since I can shoot left or right hand I think it might be nice for weak shot issues

My grandad passed down his first bow he bought when he started bow hunting when he was 25. I need to get it set up and get a kill with it before he dies. He just turned 90 this year. It’s a righty bow but I shoot right pretty well.

Get a thumb ring or thumb glove and shoot it lefty!

I finally remembered it’s an old bear static bow. I think it needs a 60” string. Like I said I shoot righty just about as good as I do lefty. Dang it watch me change to this bow last minute before season.

LOL. I change bows or combo every other week and even during season. Bring both bows with you in the tree that way what ever side of the tree the deer come in you are ready
