What did you do today?

It was -27C for a low here last night! Youza! That's a bit on the cool side.

I don't have a sauna in the house, but now the chickens have two (infrared heat lamps actually, which I installed today), so they don't get frostbite when it gets that cold overnight. After that, replaced the bent DynaLoc button on my skeletor (damaged in shipping) and made a slightly longer continuous loop out of 3/16 amsteel to use with the adjustable bridge I spliced for my JX3.

Time for a brown pop, I think! :tearsofjoy:
 
So far the coldest part of the season (was 7 degrees) this am here and of course my wood burning fireplace insert stove blower died! Ordered a replacement and took the old one out in prep for the new one. Only a two year warranty on it the rest of the stove lifetime. Whenever I clean the ashes out I take the blower off, take the air compressor out to clean the whole system of ash build up…. I guess 6 years of hard use it’s due for replacement.

Not that i know of…he’s just helping me with some mods to my gear. But he does have some really cool ideas brewing about some other stuff!! And his saddles are really, really comfortable (and drop tested)

I thought u said u were coming to the FLA get together?.....I bet u and I can convince the stalker to make the wooddog saddle pack.... Normally no yanks but I'll vogue for u.....hehehe

Bought a Foxpro predator call yesterday. Mounted 2 scopes. Let the youngest daughters practice shooting the .410 at the trash can this morning. Coyote, racoon, squirrel hunting this weekend. Yay for that.

We are gonna try some pack mods… @Islandshooter comes up with some awesome ideas to make his system more efficient. His set up shaved some weight off of a normal frame pack and makes everything he carries more modular. It’s awesome, I just hope I am able to make it as good as he envisions.

I am planning on making it. We have a meet up in Florida on 2/5 and as of now it’s gonna have at least 10 saddle hunters there possibly more who haven’t let me or the beast know they are coming. Lol gotta get that hamburger count rsvp :sweatsmile:
