What did you NOT buy today?

I didn't buy the new JX3 pack system. At $299 USD it's pretty steep and not sure I need/want it at this point. But it is tempting!

I did buy a bunch or rope though, since Canyon Elite was back in stock! Figured I needed the rope more than yet another pack. LOL

Thiiiiiis close to buying an M1A Scout Squad rifle, couldn’t pull the trigger. Maybe next year. The want is great.
Been there, that one hurts me even from here. That’s a future gun of mine as well. Left the gun store the other day basically against my will. Told my brother to not let me walk back to hold the gun again.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. That’s the equivalent of a test drive.

Trophyline finally has the EDP platform back in stock. I want one!
In the discount code section of threads there is a 10% code for Trophyline that a few people have used. I randomly found it on YouTube. buy it, I love mine! Haha

I didn’t buy a shikar mini. I’m really thinking about using it over my hawk “one stick”. But first I want to trying one stepping with a primal step and WE rope.

That sounds like a lot of work. I had enough trouble tying the knot and getting the step tight enough in ideal conditions, I wouldn't care to do it leaning down to untie and all that. It would definitely be light but the EWO stick is tough to beat with a cam cleat. I tried a Hawk mini before I got the EWO, but the standoffs kicked out too much.
that said, I started with 3-4 WE stepps and knaider/swaider or Cain method and it was compact, I just got tired of tying and managing the ropes. They had a little too much s/s play for me too, although that was probably user error. Different strokes for different folks... Good luck

To the OP, I didn't buy yet another pack today. I've been looking at the Huntworth Hickory and Trophyline Platow. But I already have too many. the search for the holy grail will have to wait until I downsize, but I tend to be a hoarder
