Got my saddle! Initial 3 minute sit was great! Kinda busy today.

The leg straps do adjust very easy with the buckles, and I think that I will probably like them better than g-hooks too so that's a bonus for safety and functionality!

Well been in the saddle for about 75 minutes now. I love it! The only thing that would make it better is if i hadn't left in it in the rain last night  :tearsofjoy:. Put my tether, Maddock, phone and a 20oz pop in the dump pouch, room to spare and no sagging or uncomfortable walking in about .5 miles. I need to see if my rappel rope fits.

That vest CGM put out may be the perfect pairing with my new saddle...

Awesome stuff @Fl Canopy Stalker !

Just hang it up inside out of the sun preferably in front of a fan over night and it should dry out completely. Nylon does absorb water but that particular webbing is moisture treated and will dry out pretty quickly in front of circulating air. Yes CGM’s products tend to pair pretty well with ours. Jerry and I are pretty like minded in our saddle (and sewing) approaches.

If you need another dump pouch for the other side, just let me know. I can pack 50’ of my 9mm protac rope and my gri gri in one of our gear bags. So hopefully your rappel rope will as well

I put my mini shikar with scout on the other side on the way out. No sag. That's pretty darn impressive considering I've got a lot more belly than butt and it's hard to keep my regular pants up lol

What do you think @Weldabeast ? Red thread and accents? ( moved over here so we don't derail the other thread)

Coming in 2024 Weldabeast gator blood edition!

I am not 100% positive but I believe it’s @MC_98
That’s me! I’m newer to saddle hunting so probably didn’t do your saddle justice on the review but I love that thing! I got a good hour sit in it last night and shot the bow some out of it! I’ve sat in the cruzr xc and yours is definitely superior! I think I have my buddy convinced to pick one up and ditch his phantom.

IMHO the phantom is a fine saddle for hunters who use sticks or have some other kind of climbing method where the saddle isn’t weight bearing. The Wood (and Aero Hunter) saddles really shine for rope climbing - I’d also guess they are great for one sticking and 2TC. The Cordura material of the deluxe and the heavy mesh of the original combined wit the nature of the design make them SO much more supportive, particularly when all of your weight is being carried by the saddle.

Saddle selection is all opinion. It’s good to hear guys like ours. And I wouldn’t worry about ruffling any feathers on here. I’ve ruffled many in my time on here
