Has anyone used this upgrade for their bitzenburger? Curious if it is worth it. I see a lot of guys online say it is a great upgrade.

Absolutely worth it. Been using it for years and would not use a Bitz with out it. If you measure the vane placement with a stock nick receiver you will find that because of the nock moving within the receiver the vanes are not spaced equally around the shaft. They will be with the upgrade.

Is it hard to install the upgrade? Looks a little tedious.

It does look a little tedious, however if you're fletching enough to warrant the upgrade then you're probably on a first name basis with tedious in the first place :)

Definitely worth the upgrade. Just remember that it will change your vane location because you aren't using the nock. I repeat do not use your old mark on your blade! Don't ask me how I know!

I just went and looked at this upgrade. I did go to .166 arrows so the front guide I know will be useful. Who doesn't want more precision in there in their arrow build tools?

Following this. Looks interesting. Has anyone used it on longer fletchings, say 4 or 5 inch feathers on a deep helical? Fletch to shaft contact is always a little more challenging with the longer fletchings in my experience.

Do you have to drill into the original jig to install the front arrow holder part? I am interested in this upgrade as well.

Yes. They send you a paper jig to use. 2 small holes that will hold the new upper v for shaft to ride in.

Ok, so I installed the Zenith upgrade. It is actually super easy to do. Only takes about 10 min to do. Just make sure if you need to fit X nocks that you buy the x nock sleeve for it as it does not come with the kit. I haven't fletched an arrow yet, but I do have about a half dozen or so to do/redo, so I will post again once I've fletched a few arrows. So far I'm happy with the upgrade and it seems like it eliminates any "play" in the jig.

I just installed the Zenith and tried to use it with my Sirius Apollo arrows (0.204 ID) and neither attachment fit the arrow. The bigger one was too big, and the smaller one was so small the arrow just spun around it. Am I missing anything? I’m going to call the manufacturer on Monday if I can’t figure it out.

I am not familiar with those arrows but .204 you probably need the X nock sleeve.

Read my post above. You need one of the other sleeves that don’t come standard. You can get them at 60xcustomstrings with free shipping for 6 bucks. I use axis arrows and need x nock sleeve
