Live from the tree 2017 version

Yes nature is brutal. This was not the biggest one on my property but nonetheless they have multiplied and are now started to disturb the deer. The deer up and disappear more frequently this time of year with the yotes that move in. I dont mind sitting all day but when you start seeing more yotes then deer its a problem.

Im only hunting state land in CT and the yote numbers are way up. I stopped applying for the aquarian water company permit because of the number of yotes I saw. Over the winter last year and this year I actually have night pictures of yotes chasing deer in the snow and during snow storms. If one gives me a shot I will take it.

That is a ropeman1 that ernie is hanging off of. Left as he has it, it makes zero noise with the biner while you are hanging.

My bad, I need to get my terminology down lol. Either way, glad to hear it doesn't make any noise.

Thanks!

I agree man way to many. As you know are state has its own agenda and they are letting things get out of control. Soon our bear population will be a grave problem but we still can't hunt them. As far as yotes go they need to be culled to some sort of balanced level. I guess its up to us hunters to do what needs to be.

I'm insane.

Same here this past weekend. I think I will start carrying my saddle in also. It wears easy but just more heat. If you shoot him just before dark and find it about an hour after dark it will be a brisk 83 or so for the drag out.

I'm actually glad season doesn't open until October 1st. Stay in the tree team one needs a big swamp donkey.

I'm out. It's a cool 80 here compared to you g2. I'm trying for another doe tonight.

I don't know how you do it in the heat. I'll probably start the week after next. I get sweaty just thinking about being outside now. Besides, season goes till mid-Feb.

Regarding 91 temp or wife calling you to tell you to cancel hunting ...

Saddle up cowboy! You do what you gotta do for team 1!

You do not want to strain the marriage! Everyone on team 1 should stay home this weekend! (Team 9, does anyone have an open season yet? We need on the board! I will be out in 1 week and 2 days for the opener! Going to try to take a management spike behind the house.)
