Tether rope and prusik rope recommendations

Under normal condition how long should the ropes last? I'm on year three, about 50 sits, with my sterling oplux tether and lineman rope. Nothing looks frayed or worn, just worried it might be time to replace them

    Blizzard Hunting

Well, Genesee county was a letdown. I only got about 5 inches at my house. Sat till 1pm today saw bunch doe and fawns. Not a lot shooting today, and i border state land. Sunday is forecasted for Gale force winds. It'll be a good day to sleep in and watch the Bills.

    Blizzard Hunting

Western NY is getting 3-6 feet of snow for our gun opener on Saturday. Winds expecting 15-20 mph. Anyone have any experience hunting with that much snow coming down? What do you it's going to do for the deer activity?

    Dead Ash Trees

What's your take on hunting out of dead Ash Trees? A couple of the trees I hang from were killed by the ash bore. They just recently died. How long are they safe to hunt out of?

What's the point of having such a highly rated rope for your main line if at the end of the day your tied in with a 3/8 prusik?

I've been doing a figure 8 follow through, through the buckle of my Latitude method with the tag end of my tether. Hopefully the buckle will hold if the prussik breaks.

    Early morning setups

I pin all my spots on Google maps. So easy. When you get to a tree you want to hunt, just press and hold on your location, then hit save. Google maps gets you to about 10-15 yards of the tree.

Electric Heated Vest and Hand Warmers -- True difference-makers

I just got the action heat rechargeable insoles from Cabela's. They come with a tiny remote to turn them on. They work awesome, best $120 I've spent .

    Ros issues

Who's this Dano you all speak of? And where can I get his buckle? I use a ratchet with bullman steps which hold very tight, but the ratchet is heavy and cumbersome.

    Cold Weather Saddle Hunting

What about a hand muff? Around your waist or can you hook it around your bridge? I hate wearing gloves for bow hunting.

I saw that at Cabela's yesterday, it's a lot bigger than I was expecting. I almost pulled the trigger. I'm looking for something smaller
