2024 Gear thread

I’m right there with you. Looking forward to see what new climbers get announced. Hopefully they also get released before next Fall.

I’m excited about some innovation in the climber space as well. I’m very close to just buying the LWCG Crossover, but if XOP changes their pin lock system, it could be good, especially for the price.

I’m looking forward to see what changes XOP made as well. I just can’t justify $1K for a stand. Rumor is that Novix could be making a climber. Guess we’ll find out. Summit posted a “hint” on Facebook. It’s a picture of a guy in an Open Shot. So maybe it’s an updated version of that.

@BuffaloBill

You talking about the Revolt?

I’m curious to see what they end up changing on this. For half the money of the LWCG, it could be a pretty good deal. I have their Ambush. After I put a Hazemore silent seat on it and removed the sit bar, it’s pretty nice. I don’t care for their locking mechanism for the belts. If they change that, I could be in on this one.

B3 has a new updated Exact Rize Hunter sight. Several pin options and adjustable sight tapes seem to be the big updates.

I don’t have high hopes for the XOP climber. The LWCG one just came out so they need some time to copy it.

They already teased their new stuff in a video. A revised invader platform, new hang on, a new micro cam strap and a camera arm.

I guess ape canyon is making that saddle for them.
I think we will see how many companies support an Ape Canyon saddle with their name on it. Good for them for making a good saddle at a descent price and expanding their market by supplying "non saddle" companies like OOAL. Seems that stick and platform companies are looking for saddles to be able to make a kit to sell their main products better.
