No don't do anything with that screw. That is the limb pocket pivot screw that attaches the limb pocket to riser

Only if you want them to kill deer!Would you guys recommend these as an option for youth hunters? 10-14??
After shooting it only a very few times yes. The only reason my 7 yo isn't shooting it already is because her arms aren't quite long enough to shoulder it and comfortably grab both handles yet. Although I think some people take the "stock" off and rest the square bar on top of their shoulder a bit.Would you guys recommend these as an option for youth hunters? 10-14??
Pics for voyeurs.I received mine a couple weeks ago. Bought a dozen Deer Creek Arrows and turned the draw weight up to 150 from the shipped 125 lbs. . Doesn't seen to be that much harder to cock. I sighted it in and I'm shooting pretty good to 30 yards. Going to change the stock scope with a Sig Romeo 5 red dot after Christmas. I will take it with me tomorrow evening to fill a doe tag.
Do it, do it, do it. Chug a lug, chug a lug!!!!!!I'm about ready to drink the koolaid.
Had some gift cards so I went to the local Bass Pro to spend. Bought a vortex cross fire 2 red dot. I was surprised how well it fit my mini. I mounted it, took it outside. Shot it at 10 yards and hit the center of the dot. Back at 20 center of dot. 30 yards, an inch low. Needless to say ,I like it alot. Didn't need to make any adjustment to the sight at all. You view some of the limb through the sight but not a big deal. I originally was looking at the Sig Romeo 5, but they had none in stock. Now I need to try it out Monday evening in the woods.
