Actually it was a button buck, but yes he blended in nicely. And the quality of the pic sucks and makes it hard to see. Saw two others, but no antlers.

Opening day of smoke pole season here in VA. Got skunked with the bow but hoping to turn things around during my favorite 2 week period of the deer season. Still not sure how to best hang my gun while saddle hunting.

Got in way early, the deer mill on the top of this ridge before hooking around into bedding. I had a doe , spike & fork at 50ish. I brought a young guy in with me , trying to get him on his first bow buck. ( he’s in “the” spot & I’m 90yds downwind) if they get b/w & booger up I’m the closer. 36degrees, beautiful morning!

This cold front in NC should have them moving and it actually came on a weekend instead of during the week while working!! I have let a 4 and a small 6 walk already this morn so maybe good things are happening!! I live for this time of the year, good hunting brothers!!!

Came in blind to a great looking pinch point I've always wanted to hunt. Climbed a tree only to realize it was hollow, climbed down, moved over and at daylight saw this 18 yds from my tree.
