LWCG stand setups

You used it yet? Is that the .5?
Yea it’s the .5 stand. And not on a hunt yet but just around the house testing. I think it’s gonna be awesome. I attached the belt with hollow paracord and it’s rock solid. For the shoulder straps I made two kydex strips with commercial Velcro on the back. On the top strip I cut two small vertical brackets so that I could fit it over the T-shaped pegs. The bottom kydex is more to just hold the angle of the back cushions the same. I then attached the two kydex strips to the stand via hollow paracord. I was also able to utilize one of the straps that holds the meat shelf and ran it vertical through the stand and attached it to the shoulder load lifters and it’s actually functional. I also was able to attach two of the extra buckle straps to each side of the stand to cinch down extra layers or packs. All in all I think it will work well.
I’ll try to upload pics tonight.

That would be awesome thanks! Kuiu just put them on sale so I might just try it. With your knowledge on it would u think just grab the frame too? Or just the suspension

Frame may be easier to attach and remove but I’m planning on mine being permanent.

Finally got some pics of the Kuiu suspension on my .5
Fully loaded it today and it rides really well. Will take it on a full hunt Thursday

Are the two straps going over the post in the one picture holding it on? Or are they free to say attach layers to the stand?
They are just there to attach layers and my bow to the stand. They terminate on the outside edge of stand and arent attached to suspension at all

That’s pretty awesome! I’m still torn between it and the tx5. I like the weight of the tx5 but not the wait haha

I don’t use my binoculars early season. They usually stay in the truck. Can’t really see more than like 40-60yds around here till the leaves drop. Use my binoculars more scouting.

Hey guys, anyone stands cables at the base of the treestand like this? Anyone think it would hurt if I bent them slightly out so they folded flat against the stand? Thanks

I have a .75 and mine are like that. I think if you bend them, as soon as you put weight on the platform they will bend back.

I love this setup.

Yea the straps are quicker and quieter than the j hooks for me. Harder to lose also haha.

Only used the waist pack for 3 hunts so far but it’s not going anywhere. It holds the essentials that go every time our. I have a tyto knife with a couple blades, two nitrile gloves for field dressing, grunt call, hawk bow holder(by far the best bow arm for mobile system I’ve found, way under the radar) bow rope, cell phone holder for filming, and a beanie. I keep an extra cam buckle strap, and amsteel daisy chain on the belt pouches on my kuiu suspension. If I carry a pack now it’s just the Sitka tool belt and that’s for when I want to take my good camera, some extra water or food or whatever. Extra clothes just go on the seat shelf with my cam buckle for my stand. My camera arm is attached to my seat with some heavy duty shock cord. If I’m bow hunting I use the extended sidekick for my Bow. I need to make a video of my whole system bc I’ve just got it so dialed in and it’s just so satisfying after constant tinkering and trying new things haha. I can go four sticks with no noise.

You should bud! Our setups are close it sounds like. I just use a alps little bear but have been eye balling the LWCG waist pack.
Do you happen to know which length of titan straps you bought and use?
