LWCG stand setups

So haven’t used this little idea in the field but if you can notice the two clips on the front of the pack. One is my aider and the other is my bow rope. It’s a way to save from digging in your pack, dripping something while grabbing something out of your pack. I think I’m gonna like it. Then the only other thing in that pocket is a strap.
Where is that pack on the way in?

Nice setup. Do you find it hard to hold the stand and remove your pack in the tree? Do you strap it to the seat and hang it with the pack attached? Do you put a strap or hook in before you pull the stand off your back for pack? I'm just trying to get a visualization of how this treestand with pack on works. I'm curious on the different ways people are getting up the tree and set up.

I’ll take a pic for u tomorrow. The pack while walking in rides on the load shelf. Then when I get to the tree I either clip it to my saddle or I have a backup and I have a single strand of paracord. It’s not heavy at all so the paracord for the 10 minutes it may be on my shoulder doesn’t bother.

I climb with my stand with wolf pack attached.
I attach my gear strap to the tree. I have 3 hooks, bow holder, pack holder and coat holder.
I have a piece of paracord at both ends of the stand. I hang my stand on the bow hook. Take off the pack and hang it. Remove coat and hang.
Remove my cam strap. Flip stand 180 and hook stand so I can install the cam strap.

I’ve sure this has been discussed but I’m looking for someone who’s using the tx5 suspension this year? I’m looking to try it. I’m used the full system from Kuiu last year and it’s awesome. Just a touch heavier than I’d like and a little bulky. Thanks.
I did not try it. But I contacted TX5 and they sent me a video. Looked to me that it positioned the waist belt above the bottom edge of my platform.
With the LWCG belt, the center line of the belt is even with the edge of the platform. The distance from the center line of the belt to the strap top connection point is 21". Since my torso is 21" the factory set up seems comfortable to me. If the TX5 is 3" shorted, that would not work as well for me.

How tall r u?

6' 3" but I have short legs, 32" inseam almost. I have problems finding a pack since alot of internal fram packs only work up to 18" torso.
I gotcha! I’d say I’ll be fine then. I’m only 5’10”ish. I didn’t like the tx5 as an option because I didn’t trust clips they used. Now I’ve heard no problems but they offer a different style attachment.

Interested in a .75. Waiting on the budget version to come out first though. Want to see the price and features on that before I drop $600+

I have a .75, nice stand.
But for someone on a budget, $475 plus free shipping is hard to beat.

I’ve got the .75 as well and used a Helo for a few trips last season. It’s a great stand. For $475 for the entire set up, that seems to be a deal in my opinion.

The 4th sale is extended for this weekend!

I got the TX5 suspension system and their EOP Pack in this week.

I’ve got a few things on the way from Genesis 3D Printing to better pack my LWCG Doubles (didn’t care for the J Hooks).

Here’s the set up with my spurs. Inside the pack, I’ve got a Method 2 Saddle, 2 dump pouches, and a Sherman Pocket filled with a kill kit (for size reference).

Once I get my other stuff in, I can get more pics or a video of anyone is interested. I’m excited about the set up. It will be nice to save a trip out and be able to pack meat between the pack and stand.

I wasn't going to say anything but I see one small problem.
If you don't tag alot of deer this season you won't be able to blame your set up, LOL.

Haha. That’s true. Maybe I’ll take that sidekick bow holder or something off just to give me an out.

That said, I really like how this system and pack work on that .75. For the hunting I do, I think it’ll be a great set up that’s more efficient than anything I’ve had before.
