Mountain Bike for Access?

Was that a limited edition or something? Red is sexy

It is one of the earlier bikes they built.
I bought one for my wife from a company in Denver called Fatte-Bikes. They will let you pick your color. I wonder if they would do Camo??

Another option for bike theft deterrence. It locks the wheel perpendicular to the frame so you can't ride it. If a thief wants to hike my 35lb bike out over a mile+ outta the woods I'd say he's earned it lol. My hunting bike will also be my commuter so it'll be nice to stop and run into dunkin donuts quick and not have someone just hop on the bike and take off

That's pretty slick and looks like a must have imo. Thanks for the scoop!

Look into doing an ebike conversion kit. Pretty simple and way cheaper. I had to do the back battery rack due to the frame of my bike not having enough space for the other style but it’s ended up being pretty handy.

Is that a custom paint job? If so how did you do it? I just picked up a used bike the other day that's been painted red and I'm planning on doing something very similar to what you've got.

All I did was get the the flat earth tone spray paint, a piece of cardboard and a sponge. I sprayed the whole thing the tan color. Then on the cardboard sprayed out green paint until I had enough to absorb on the sponge. Then went through and sponged in on randomly. Let that dry and repeat with the black and brown. It’s super simple and cheap and I like the look of it. There are people who are good at it that can make it look like Sitka camo. Plenty of videos and threads about doing it on other things.

Looks like a motorcycle stem lock. Handy, and should work for what we're doing.

My only hesitation is it looks like it has a pretty step angle forward. I like a more upright position and this could have you leaning forward a bit. Wish it was adjustable.

My public land bike should arrive within 3 weeks so I've started looking at accessories. Any suggestions on best way or product to carry bow/gun

Check out All Rite Pack Rack Plus. I use them on my bike and they do a great job holding my bow. With that said, I think this year I'm going to try to pack my bow in my Kifaru from the truck all the way up the tree.

Are you running' it on a MTB? Any pics? I checked out and it seems a bit more from a large rack like an ATV. Maybe I'm missing something.
I used it on my Radrover ebike. I put it on my from rack but took it of for the summer. It will work on a bike.

I have a Backou Mule that I absolutely love for hunting. I sweat a lot and now I can zip up just about any hill with minimal effort. It's great for setting stands as well. I have stands in places now that I wouldn't have even entertained the idea of putting them.

Nice!!!

Got my public land bike in. Im smitten!! Got a bunch more things to get done with it before deer season. Gotta go tubeless. Needs a rack and fenders. And I gotta install the dropper and suspension post. I wanted this drivetrain bad. No rusting chain and gears. Massive 600% gear range. And you get to pick what gear you want to be in. No having to keep jumping through gears to get to the right one. 20220402_105407_compress65.jpg20220402_105422_compress3.jpg20220402_105416_compress54.jpg

Got a new hunting buddy to carry my gear. It's better than the old one. It's a Bakcou Step thru Mule. Here's pic of both new and old. I will get a better pic when the rain stops. 20220406_093859.jpg20200626_104820.jpg
