The aider uses carbon steps and they are adjustable. I could not climb this way, but you younger guys may like it.

No. I have a Pac Seat.Did you try the chair?
Are they going to run them for $1200 for a limited time only?I heard a rumor that LWCG may have a 4th of July sale. But don't tell anyone!
It'll be $1500 for the usable size climber whenever that comes out (assuming it makes it to production). Are they going to run them for $1200 for a limited time only?

I’d be super worried about how to self rescue if you slipped since the limb would be angled, that would be a ton of gravity to fight tying to get back up or down for that matter. This is one of the reasons I love saddles, not only is recovery easier but if something happens, the straps wouldn’t be across your arteries (barring a couple models) and if you couldn’t get up to your platform or steps, you can still stay in the sling seat and walk your feet up even with or above your heart to prevent the blood from pooling in your legs.Conceptually the swivel limb seems helpful but then I thought about the tree itself and how jacked up it is…….. I don’t think I’d really enjoy that and would probably not be at ease but I’ve never used one. I have been in somemknarly and leaning trees and I don’t enjoy that much at all.
