New Gear for 2023, Go!

New camera arm on the market.

New camera arm on the market.

Looks terrible.

Several years ago I hacked up an old treestand and made my own camera arm. Even as a clueless newby to filming I had enough sense to have a pivot point near the tree. IMG_6446.jpeg

Last thing I want to mess with is clevis pins at height. It’s a terrible design

Just picked up a predator platform at my local archery shop. My guess with how quiet tethrd has been on the Vader is it's not coming till the end of October if not Nov. Then add another week or two for lead times and shipping and Id get it after the season ends.
Plus Id rather let Enkriss pick up 4 of them to test throughly lol

when you add up sticks+ stand or saddle + platform its about the same. I don't see anything obscene about the cost. Wouldn't buy it myself as I dont hunt straight trees.

Yeah I agree. Although you do still need a harness, right? IDK, I've never used a climber. Climbers are garbage in Oklahoma. Too many crooked trees with limbs everywhere.

Well, what's the cost? Sure I could look it up but I'm lazy and didn't have the best day  :tearsofjoy:
